ਕੀ ਸਤਪਾਲ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਬਣੇਗਾ ਉੱਤਰਾਖੰਡ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖਮੰਤਰੀ ?
ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ : ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਦਲ ਦੀ ਬੈਠਕ ਵਿਚ ਇਹ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਕਿ ਉੱਤਰਾਖੰਡ ਦਾ ਅਗਲਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕੌਣ ਬਣਨ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਸਮੀਕਰਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣੇਗਾ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸੱਤਪਾਲ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਦਾਅਵੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਜਦੋਂ ਤ੍ਰਿਵੇਂਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਵਤ ਨੇ ਅਸਤੀਫਾ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਂਅ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। 111 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਨ ਸੰਭਾਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਤੀਰਥ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਵਤ ਨੇ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨਕ ਸੰਕਟ ਦਾ ਹਵਾਲਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਅਸਤੀਫਾ ਸੌਂਪਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਕੌਣ ਹੈ ਸਤਪਾਲ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ?
ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ ਸਤਪਾਲ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਨਾਂਅ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਦੌੜ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੈ। ਸਾਲ 2016 ਵਿਚ ਉਹ ਹਰੀਸ਼ ਰਾਵਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਬਗਾਵਤ ਦਾ ਬਿਗਲ ਵਜਾ ਕੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੀ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿਚ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਸਤਪਾਲ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪਿਛੋਕੜ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਉਮੀਦ ਬਾਕੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿਚ, ਭਾਜਪਾ ਨੇ ਅਸਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ ਹਿਮਾਂਤਾ ਬਿਸਬਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਸਤਪਾਲ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਰੂਹਾਂ ਉੱਚੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸੈਰ ਸਪਾਟਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸੱਤਪਾਲ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਇਕ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਇਕ ਅਧਿਆਤਮਕ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਤ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਛਵੀ ਹੈ।
ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਈ
ਸਤਪਾਲ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਪਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ 90 ਵਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਉਤਰਾਖੰਡ ਦੇ ਗਠਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਤਪਾਲ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਨੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਰਾਜ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਸੱਤਪਾਲ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਨੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਹੰਸ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਤੋਰਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਸਤਪਾਲ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਨੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਤਿਵਾੜੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ 20-ਨੁਕਾਤੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਾਲ 2009 ਵਿਚ ਗੜ੍ਹਵਾਲ ਸੀਟ ਤੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣ ਜਿੱਤੀ ਪਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਝਟਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਸੱਤਪਾਲ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣਨ ਦਾ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਸੀ, ਨੇ ਚੌਬਟਾਖਲ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੀ ਟਿਕਟ ‘ਤੇ 2017 ਵਿੱਚ ਚੋਣ ਲੜੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਤ੍ਰਿਵੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣੇ ਸਨ।
ਪਤਨੀ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਵੀ ਰਹਿ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ ਮੰਤਰੀ
ਸਤਪਾਲ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਹਰੀਸ਼ ਰਾਵਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਆਖਰੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸੀ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਹਰੀਸ਼ ਰਾਵਤ ਨੇ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੇ ਪਤੀ ਸਤਪਾਲ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਰੋਹੀ ਬਣਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਤੋਂ ਹਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਸਾਲ 2002 ਵਿਚ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਵਿਚ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ ਅਤੇ ਤਿਵਾੜੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸਨੇ 2007 ਅਤੇ 2012 ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵੀ ਜਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਉਸਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ 2017 ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੜੀਆਂ।
