ਨਵਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾਣ ‘ਤੇ ਸੁਖਪਾਲ ਖਹਿਰਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ । ਖਹਿਰਾ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ”ਮੈਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨ ਹੈ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਹੁਣ ਚੀਫ਼ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਤੇ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਾਲ ਸਤਿਕਾਰਯੋਗ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਸਲੇ ਸੁਲਝਾਉਣਗੇ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਤੇ ਬਹਿਬਲ ਕਲਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਭਖਦੇ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨਗੇ”। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚਾਰਾਂ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਸ਼ੁਤਰਾਣਾ ਨੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਬਣੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨਵਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹਾਈ ਕਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ 100 ਫ਼ੀਸਦ ਸਹੀ ਹੈ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਭ ਕੁੱਝ ਠੀਕ ਰਹੇਗਾ।

ਹਲਕਾ ਪੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਹਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਿੱਲ ਨੇ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨਵਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧੀਆ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਬਣਨ ਨਾਲ ਵਰਕਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਵਧੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ 2022 ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਭਾਰੀ ਬਹੁਮਤ ਨਾਲ ਬਣੇਗੀ। ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਹਾਈਕਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ਼ ਹੈ।
ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਟਵੀਟ
ਨਵਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਬਣਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਟਵੀਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਹਰਇਕ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਚੱਲਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਜਿੱਤੇਗਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਹਾਈਕਮਾਨ ਦੇ 18 ਨੁਕਾਤੀ ਏਜੰਡੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਦੀ ਅਜੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੋਨੀਆ ਗਾਂਧੀ, ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿਯੰਕਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ।
