ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੇ 37 ਵਾਰ 200 ਜਾਂ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ, ਪਿਛਲਾ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ 18 ਵਾਰ ਸੀ
ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੇ 08 ਵਾਰ 200 ਜਾਂ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦਾ ਟੀਚਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ, ਪਿਛਲਾ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਾਰ ਸੀ।
ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਔਸਤ ਸਕੋਰ 183 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 2018 ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ 172 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਸੀ।

ਰਹਾਣੇ ਟੀਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ‘ਚ ਗਿਰਾਵਟ ਆਈ। ਇਸ ਨਿਲਾਮੀ ‘ਚ ਚੇਨਈ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਹੋਰ ਫ੍ਰੈਂਚਾਇਜ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖਰੀਦਣ ‘ਚ ਦਿਲਚਸਪੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿਖਾਈ। ਚੇਨਈ ਨੇ ਰਹਾਣੇ ਨੂੰ 50 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਬੇਸ ਕੀਮਤ ‘ਤੇ ਖਰੀਦਿਆ। ਧੋਨੀ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਸੌਦਾ ਸਸਤਾ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋਇਆ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਰਹਾਣੇ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਦਿਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਸ਼ਿਵਮ ਦੂਬੇ ਵੀ ਕਾਫੀ ਚਮਕੇ। ਚੇਨਈ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਹ ਰਾਇਲ ਚੈਲੰਜਰਜ਼ ਬੈਂਗਲੁਰੂ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ ਰਾਇਲਜ਼ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ‘ਚ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਖੇਡਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਲੰਬੇ ਛੱਕੇ ਮਾਰਨ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੁਰਖੀਆਂ ‘ਚ ਰਹੇ।
ਫਿਨਸ਼ਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ‘ਚ ਜਡੇਜਾ ਧੋਨੀ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਆਇਆ
ਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਜਡੇਜਾ ਨੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਗੇਂਦ ‘ਤੇ ਚੌਕਾ ਜੜ ਕੇ ਚੇਨਈ ਸੁਪਰ ਕਿੰਗਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਵਾਰ ਆਈ.ਪੀ.ਐੱਲ. ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਧੋਨੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸਫਲ ਫਿਨਿਸ਼ਰ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਟੀਚੇ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਧੋਨੀ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮਾ 27 ਵਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦਕਿ ਜਡੇਜਾ ਨੇ 26ਵੀਂ ਵਾਰ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਖੇਡਦਿਆਂ ਗੁਜਰਾਤ ਨੇ 20 ਓਵਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਰ ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ’ਤੇ 214 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਮੀਂਹ ਕਾਰਨ ਚੇਨਈ ਨੂੰ 15 ਓਵਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 171 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੋਧਿਆ ਟੀਚਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਆਖਰੀ ਓਵਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੇਨਈ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਲਈ 13 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਸੀ। ਜਡੇਜਾ ਦੇ ਚੌਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਚੇਨਈ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨ ਬਣੀ।
