ਇੰਡੀਅਨ ਪ੍ਰੀਮੀਅਰ ਲੀਗ (IPL 2022) ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਟੀਮ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਹੁਣ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ‘ਤੇ ਹੈ। 3 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਯਾਨੀ 9 ਜੂਨ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਟੀਮ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਟੀ-20 ਸੀਰੀਜ਼ ਖੇਡਣ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸੀਰੀਜ਼ ‘ਚ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਰਾਟ ਕੋਹਲੀ, ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਸਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਬੁਮਰਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਰਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸੀਰੀਜ਼ ‘ਚ ਕਈ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਉਣਗੇ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ‘ਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਚਰਚਾ ਦੋ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਤੇਜ਼ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ ਅਰਸ਼ਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਉਮਰਾਨ ਮਲਿਕ ਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਟੀਮ ‘ਚ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

ਸਾਬਕਾ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਤੇਜ਼ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ ਇਰਫਾਨ ਪਠਾਨ ਦਾ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਆਗਾਮੀ ਟੀ-20 ਸੀਰੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ 5 ਮੈਚਾਂ ‘ਚ ਅਰਸ਼ਦੀਪ ਨੂੰ ਖਿਡਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਟਾਰ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇਰਫਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਆਈਪੀਐੱਲ ‘ਚ ਅਰਸ਼ਦੀਪ ਦੇ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ‘ਤੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਮਾਰੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਅਰਸ਼ਦੀਪ ਨੇ 14 ਮੈਚਾਂ ‘ਚ 10 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਲਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਯਾਨੀ ਮੈਚ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਘੱਟ ਹਨ। ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਚੋਣਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ‘ਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਟੀਮ ‘ਚ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ ਡੈਥ ਓਵਰ ‘ਚ ਅਰਸ਼ਦੀਪ ਦੀ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ੀ। ਇਰਫਾਨ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਰਸ਼ਦੀਪ ਡੈੱਥ ਓਵਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਧੋਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰਦਿਕ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਮਲਾਵਰ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਹੈ।
ਡੈਥ ਓਵਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ੀ
ਡੈਥ ਓਵਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 60 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਗੇਂਦਾਂ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ 27 ਆਈਪੀਐਲ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ, ਅਰਸ਼ਦੀਪ ਦੀ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਦਰ ਬੁਮਰਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਸੀ। ਅਰਸ਼ਦੀਪ ਦਾ ਇਕਾਨਮੀ ਰੇਟ 7.91 ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਬੁਮਰਾਹ ਦੀ ਇਕਾਨਮੀ ਰੇਟ 7.66 ਸੀ। ਇੰਨਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਅਰਸ਼ਦੀਪ ਨੇ ਇਸ 15ਵੇਂ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ‘ਚ ਯਾਰਕਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ‘ਚ ਬੁਮਰਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਰਾਬਰੀ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਦੋਵਾਂ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਈਪੀਐਲ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ 38-38 ਯਾਰਕਰ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕੀਤੀ।
