ਮੀਕਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਇਨ੍ਹੀਂ ਦਿਨੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਸੁਰਖੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਕੋਈ ਨਵਾਂ ਗੀਤ ਜਾਂ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਹੈ। ਗਾਇਕ ਇਕ ਰਿਐਲਿਟੀ ਸ਼ੋਅ ‘ਸਵਯੰਵਰ’ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਾਥੀ ਲੱਭਣ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਮੀਕਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਪਨਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਰਾਜਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਉਹ ਪਿਛਲੇ 20 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਮੀਕਾ ਦੀ ਮੰਨੀਏ ਤਾਂ 10 ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਦਾ ਆਫਰ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਉਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸ਼ੋਅ ‘ਚ ਉਹ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤੀ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਪੂਰੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਬਿਤਾ ਸਕੇਗਾ।
ਮੀਕਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਚੈਟ ਸ਼ੋਅ ‘ਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ‘ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਅਜਿਹਾ ‘ਸਵਯੰਵਰ’ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਖੁਸ਼ਕਿਸਮਤ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੰਨੇ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਸ਼ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਪਿਛਲੇ 20 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਭਗ 100-150 ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਠੁਕਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਕੰਮ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਸੀ। ਲੋਕ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਘੁੰਮਣਾ ਪਸੰਦ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਵਿਆਹ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ।
ਦਲੇਰ ਪਾਜੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕੀ ਪਤਾ ਕੋਈ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਵੇ
ਮੀਕਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ‘ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ‘ਚ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਇੰਨੀ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਦਲੇਰ ਪਾਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਗਰਲਫ੍ਰੈਂਡ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਖਾ ਸਕਾਂ, ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਇਹ ਸਿਸਟਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਤਿਕਾਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ। ਆਖਰਕਾਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਸ਼ ਆਈ ਤਾਂ ਦਲੇਰ ਪੰਜਾਜੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਰ, ਕੀ ਪਤਾ, ਕੋਈ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਵੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਡੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣ ਰਹੇ। ਮੇਰੀ ਉਮਰ 44 ਸਾਲ ਹੈ, ਬਿਹਤਰ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਕੁਆਰਾ ਰਹਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਹੁਣ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰ ਲਵਾਂ। ਮੀਕਾ ਤੋਂ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੁੜੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ‘ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਇਹ ਸਮਝਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹਾਂ’

ਮੀਕਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ‘ਮੈਂ ਵਿਆਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਦੀ ਤਲਾਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ, ਪਿਆਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਵਿਆਹ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਪਿਆਰ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਪਿਆਰ ਇੱਕ ਸਕਿੰਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਤੱਕ ਪਿਆਰ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ, ਫਿਰ ਵਿਆਹ ਵੀ ਕਰ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ। ਵਿਆਹ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਆਖਰੀ ਐਪੀਸੋਡ ਤੱਕ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਪਰ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ। ਲੋਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ‘ਤੇ ਪਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਖੁਸ਼ਕਿਸਮਤ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਹਰ ਪਲ ਟੈਲੀਕਾਸਟ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਪੂਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਮੇਰੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਪਲ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਰਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
