ਜਲੰਧਰ- ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਰਾਜ ਸਭਾ ਸੀਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੱਤਾਧਾਰੀ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਬਚੀਆਂ ਦੋ ਸੀਟਾਂ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ । ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰਾਜ ਸਭਾ ਲਈ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਸੰਤ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੀਚੇਵਾਲ ਤੇ ਵਿਕਰਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਨੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਮੋਹਰ ਲੱਗ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਗਲੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਚਾਰ ਤਰੀਕ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੀ ਅੰਬਿਕਾ ਸੋਨੀ ੳਤੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਸਭਾ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੂੰਦੜ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਲ ਖਤਮ ਹੋਣ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ । ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ‘ਆਪ’ਵਲੋਂ ਪੰਜ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਰਾਜ ਸਭਾ ਭੇਜੇ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ ।ਬਾਕੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋ ਸੀਟਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਵੀ ‘ਆਪ’ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਹੋਣ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ।ਸੰਤ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੀਚੇਵਾਲ ਦਰਿਆਵਾਂ ‘ਚ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਜਾਣੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸਾਲ 2017 ‘ਚ ਸੰਤ ਸੀਚੇਵਾਲ ਦੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਦਮ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਵਿਕਰਮਜੀਤ ਸਾਹਨੀ ਨੇ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡਾ ‘ਚ ਕਾਫੀ ਮਦਦ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਈ ਸੀ ।ਅਫਗਾਨਿਸਤਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਜੜ ਕੇ ਆਏ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁਨਰਵਾਸ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਸਾਹਨੀ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾਯੋਗ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ।
ਰਾਜ ਸਭਾ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋ ਸੀਟਾਂ ’ਤੇ 10 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ। ਦੋਵੇਂ ਸੀਟਾਂ ‘ਆਪ’ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣੀਆਂ ਤੈਅ ਹਨ। ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਤ ਸੀਚੇਵਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਚਰਚਾ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਕਿ ‘ਆਪ’ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜ ਸਭਾ ਵਿਚ ਭੇਜਣ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਮਾਨ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਤ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ 17ਵੀਂ ਬਰਸੀ ’ਤੇ ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਦੇ ਸੁਲਤਾਨਪੁਰ ਲੋਧੀ ਪੁੱਜੇ ਸਨ। ਵਿਕਰਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਨੀ ਵੀ ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵੀ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਦਮਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਐਵਾਰਡ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
