ਜਲੰਧਰ- ਸੰਗਰੂਰ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਉਪ ਚੋਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਸਰਪੰਚ ਗੁਰਮੇਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪਾਰਟੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੱਸ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਦਕਿ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਕਰੋੜ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਗੁਰਮੇਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਘਰਾਚੋਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਾਖਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਨਾਮਜ਼ਦਗੀ ਪੱਤਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰਮੇਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮਜ਼ਦਗੀ ਪੱਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ 40 ਕਨਾਲ ਵਾਹੀਯੋਗ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਦੀ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਕਰੀਬ 1 ਕਰੋੜ 10 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਚੰਦ ਪੱਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ 9075 ਵਰਗ ਫੁੱਟ ਦੇ ਮਕਾਨ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਕਰੀਬ 12.60 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੱਸੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ‘ਚ ਗੁਰਮੇਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਇੱਕ ਕਰੋੜ 22 ਲੱਖ 60 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਹਨ। ਜੇਕਰ ਗੁਰਮੇਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਚੱਲ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 70 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਰੁਪਏ ਨਕਦ ਹਨ, ਪਤਨੀ ਕੋਲ 30 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਨਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਇੱਕ ਆਈ-20 ਕਾਰ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਕੂਟਰੀ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਸੋਨੇ ਤੇ ਗਹਿਣਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਗੁਰਮੇਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੋਲ 55 ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਸੋਨਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਕਰੀਬ 2.60 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਹਰਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਕੋਲ 100 ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੇ ਗਹਿਣੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਕਰੀਬ 4.73 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰਮੇਲ ਕੋਲ 9 ਲੱਖ 16 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ 605 ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਚੱਲ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਕੋਲ 5 ਲੱਖ 22 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ 788 ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਚੱਲ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਹੈ। ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਤੇ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਮਦਨ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਸਾਧਨ ਹਨ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਕਰੀਬੀ ਮੰਨੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਗੁਰਮੇਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਰੀਬ 5 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪੰਜ ਲੱਖ 20 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਦੇਣਦਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਹੈ।
ਦੱਸ ਦੇਈਏ ਕਿ 38 ਸਾਲਾ ਤੇ ਐਮਬੀਏ ਪਾਸ ਗੁਰਮੇਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਅਤੇ ਟਿਊਟਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਵੀ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਹੈ। 2013 ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ 2014 ਦੀਆਂ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। 2015 ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਵਾਨੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਰਕਲ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਸੌਂਪੀ । ਗੁਰਮੇਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀਐੱਮ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਗ਼ੈਰ-ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੋਠੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ’ਚੋਂ ਹਨ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਧੂਰੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਫਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰਮੇਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਹੀ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।ਗੁਰਮੇਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ 2018 ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਟਿਕਟ ਤੋਂ ਘਰਾਚੋਂ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੀ ਸਰਪੰਚੀ ਜਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। ਘਰਾਚੋਂ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੀ ਸਰਪੰਚੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਅੱਤਲੀ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਪਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਤਤਕਾਲੀ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਗਰੂਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਵਿਜੇ ਇੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਗਲਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਘਰਾਚੋਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਉੱਪਰ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਕਾਲਜ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਗੁਰਮੇਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੇ ਸਿੰਗਲਾ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਰਿਹਾ। ਗੁਰਮੇਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਸਿੰਗਲਾ, ਪੰਚਾਇਤੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਲਈ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਵਿਜੇ ਇੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਗਲਾ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਕਾਲਜ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ। 2021 ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਗਰੂਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦਾ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਬਦਲ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਸੀ। ਹੁਣ ਸੀ.ਐੱਮ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਗੁਰਮੇਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਜਤਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਗਰੂਰ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਸੀਟ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿਮਨੀ ਚੋਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਤੌਰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਚੋਣ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ…ਉਥੇ ਹੀ ਨਾਮਜ਼ਦਗੀ ਦਾਖਲ ਕਰਨ ਆਏ ਗੁਰਮੇਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਦੇ ਰੂ-ਬ-ਰੂ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਕੋ ਮਕਸਦ ਸੰਗਰੂਰ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਹਲਕੇ ਦਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਰਨਾ ਤੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਰੰਗਲਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸੀ.ਐੱਮ. ਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ…
