ਡੈਸਕ- ਏਅਰ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦੀ ਫਲਾਈਟ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਔਰਤ ‘ਤੇ ਪਿਸ਼ਾਬ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਮਿਸ਼ਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਬੈਂਗਲੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਘਟਨਾ ਦੇ ਜਨਤਕ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ ਫਰਾਰ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਣ ਲਈ ਲੁੱਕਆਊਟ ਸਰਕੂਲਰ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਘਟਨਾ 26 ਨਵੰਬਰ 2022 ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਰੀ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ 4 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2023 ਨੂੰ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
ਦੋਸ਼ ਹੈ ਕਿ 26 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਊਯਾਰਕ-ਦਿੱਲੀ ਏਅਰ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦੀ ਉਡਾਣ AI-102 ‘ਤੇ ਨਸ਼ੇ ‘ਚ ਧੁੱਤ ਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਮਿਸ਼ਰਾ ਨੇ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੈਂਟ ਉਤਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਜ਼ਨੈੱਸ ਕਲਾਸ ‘ਚ ਬੈਠੀ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਔਰਤ ‘ਤੇ ਪਿਸ਼ਾਬ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕੋਲ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਨਾ ਕਰੇ, ਇਸ ਦਾ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚੇ ‘ਤੇ ਅਸਰ ਪਵੇਗਾ।
ਇਧਰ ਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਮਿਸ਼ਰਾ ਦੇ ਵਕੀਲ ਨੇ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮੁਵੱਕਿਲ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਔਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਲਈ ਮੁਆਫੀ ਮੰਗੀ ਸੀ। ਇੱਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ 15,000 ਰੁਪਏ ਮੁਆਵਜ਼ੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਨ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰਵਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਮਹਿਲਾ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਨੇ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਇਕ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਇਹ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਪੈਸੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ।
ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਵੇਲਜ਼ ਫਾਰਗੋ (Wells Fargo), ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਬਤੌਰ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਵਾਈਸ ਪ੍ਰੈਜ਼ੀਡੈਂਟ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਨੇ ਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਮਿਸ਼ਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਬਰਖਾਸਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ‘ਤੇ ਲੱਗੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ‘ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਨਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ’ ਹਨ। ਦਿੱਲੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ 4 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਐਫਆਈਆਰ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਈ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਸਨ, ਜੋ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਂਗਲੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਸਨ।
ਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਮਿਸ਼ਰਾ ਦੇ ਵਕੀਲ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਦੇ ਨਸ਼ੇ ‘ਚ ਹੋਈ ਇਸ ਗਲਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਮਿਸ਼ਰਾ ਨੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਔਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। ਦੋਵਾਂ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਵੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਵਾਂ ਵਜ਼ਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
