ਆਖਿਰ ਕੀ ਹੈ ‘ਜਰਸੀ ਨੰਬਰ-7’ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ਼? ਐੱਮਐੱਸ ਧੋਨੀ ਨੇ ਖੁਦ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ
‘ਜਰਸੀ ਨੰਬਰ-7’ ਸੁਣਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਮਾਗ ‘ਚ ਮਹਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧੋਨੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮਾਹੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਪਤਾਨੀ ‘ਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਲਈ 2 ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਜਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ, ਜਦਕਿ ਆਈ.ਪੀ.ਐੱਲ. ‘ਚ ਉਹ ਚੇਨਈ ਸੁਪਰ ਕਿੰਗਜ਼ ਨੂੰ 4 ਖਿਤਾਬ ਦਿਵਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਧੋਨੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਡੈਬਿਊ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ‘7’ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਮੀਜ਼ ਨੰਬਰ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਵਰਤ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 7ਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ (ਜੁਲਾਈ) ਨੂੰ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ‘ਚ ਇਹ ਨੰਬਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ਕਿਸਮਤ ਹੈ।
‘ਜਰਸੀ ਨੰਬਰ-7’ ਅੰਧਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ
ਚੇਨਈ ਸੁਪਰ ਕਿੰਗਜ਼ (CSK) ਦੇ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਐਮਐਸ ਧੋਨੀ ਨੇ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ‘ਨੰਬਰ 7’ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਕਰੀਬ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਨੰਬਰ ਕਿਸੇ ‘ਵਹਿਮ’ ਕਾਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਚੇਨਈ ਸੁਪਰ ਕਿੰਗਜ਼ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੇਰੈਂਟ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਸੀਮੈਂਟਸ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਧੋਨੀ ਨੇ ‘ਨੰਬਰ 7’ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਮਹਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧੋਨੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ”ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ‘ਚ ਕਈ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਿ ਨੰਬਰ 7 ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਲੱਕੀ ਨੰਬਰ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਸਧਾਰਨ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੀ, ਮੇਰਾ ਜਨਮ 7 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਸੱਤਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦਾ ਸੱਤਵਾਂ ਦਿਨ ਇੱਕ ਚੰਗੀ ਸੰਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਨਮ ਮਿਤੀ ਚੁਣਾਂਗਾ।”
ਮਹਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧੋਨੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਕਰੀਅਰ ‘ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਜ਼ਰ
ਸਾਬਕਾ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਮਹਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧੋਨੀ ਨੇ 15 ਅਗਸਤ 2020 ਨੂੰ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਲੈਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਕਰੀਅਰ ‘ਤੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਮਾਰੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ 90 ਟੈਸਟ ਮੈਚਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ 144 ਪਾਰੀਆਂ ‘ਚ 4876 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ, 16 ਵਾਰ ਅਜੇਤੂ ਰਿਹਾ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ 6 ਸੈਂਕੜੇ, 33 ਅਰਧ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਅਤੇ 1 ਦੋਹਰਾ ਸੈਂਕੜਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ। ਜੇਕਰ ਅਸੀਂ 350 ਵਨਡੇ ਮੈਚਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਧੋਨੀ ਨੇ 84 ਵਾਰ ਅਜੇਤੂ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ 10773 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ। ਵਨਡੇ ‘ਚ ਮਾਹੀ ਨੇ 10 ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਅਤੇ 73 ਅਰਧ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਲਗਾਏ ਹਨ।
ਟੀ-20 ਫਾਰਮੈਟ ‘ਚ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਰਿਹਾ
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਟੀ-20 ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਦੇ 98 ਮੈਚਾਂ ‘ਚ 2 ਅਰਧ ਸੈਂਕੜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ 1617 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ। ਆਈਪੀਐਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਹੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਧੋਨੀ ਨੇ IPL ਦੇ 220 ਮੈਚਾਂ ‘ਚ 4746 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਦਕਿ 23 ਅਰਧ ਸੈਂਕੜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ 73 ਵਾਰ ਅਜੇਤੂ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
