ਡੈਸਕ- ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਏਅਰਪੋਰਟ ’ਤੇ ਕਸਟਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਦੁਬਈ ਤੋਂ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਕਸਟਮ ਨੇ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਕੋਲੋਂ 45.22 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦਾ ਸੋਨਾ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਕਸਟਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਪੁਛਗਿਛ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਦੇ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਦੇ ਮਕਸਦ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਮਿਲੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਤਸਕਰ ਏਅਰ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦੀ ਫਲਾਈਟ ਵਿਚ ਦੁਬਈ ਤੋਂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ ’ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਸੀ। ਕਸਟਮ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਕਤ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਹਰਕਤ ‘ਤੇ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਹੋਇਆ। ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਤੋਂ ਸਖ਼ਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਪੁਛਗਿਛ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕਸਟਮ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਕੈਪਸੂਲ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਪਤ ਅੰਗ ‘ਚ ਛੁਪਾ ਕੇ ਲਿਆਇਆ ਸੀ।
ਜਦੋਂ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਪੇਸਟ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਕੁੱਲ ਵਜ਼ਨ ਕਰੀਬ ਇਕ ਕਿਲੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੋਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ 24 ਕੈਰੇਟ ਵਿਚ ਬਦਲ ਦਿਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਕੁੱਲ ਵਜ਼ਨ 751 ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਆਇਆ। ਇਸ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਖੇਪ ਦੀ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਲਗਭਗ 45.22 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੱਸੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਕਸਟਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਕਸਟਮ ਐਕਟ 1962 ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿਤੀ ਹੈ।
