ਇਕ ਇੰਟਰਵਿਊ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਨੰਨਿਆ ਪਾਂਡੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਬੌਡੀ ਸ਼ੈਮ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਖਾਂਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਤਲੀ ਹਾਂ। ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਕਰਵੀ ਬਾਡੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਬਾਡੀ ਵੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਚਿੰਤਤ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਪਤਲੀਆਂ ਲੱਤਾਂ ਸਕਰਟਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਲੋਕ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਛੇੜਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੰਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਤਈ ਸੀ।
