1996 ਵਿੱਚ ਅਦਾਕਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ
ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਦੇਈਏ ਕਿ ਅਰਬਾਜ਼ ਖਾਨ ਫਿਲਮ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ਦੇ ਸਫਲ ਪਟਕਥਾ ਲੇਖਕ ਸਲੀਮ ਖਾਨ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਬੇਟੇ ਹਨ। ਅਰਬਾਜ਼ ਖਾਨ ਨੇ ਸਾਲ 1996 ‘ਚ ਫਿਲਮੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ‘ਚ ਡੈਬਿਊ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਦਾਦਰ’ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਚ ਅਰਬਾਜ਼ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਮਰਹੂਮ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਕਪੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਜੂਹੀ ਚਾਵਲਾ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਏ ਸਨ। ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਪਿਆਰ ਕਿਆ ਤੋ ਡਰਨਾ ਕਯਾ ‘ ‘ਚ ਅਰਬਾਜ਼ ਖਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਫੀ ਪਸੰਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ‘ਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਜੋਲ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਦਾ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਅਰਬਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਸਲਮਾਨ ਖਾਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੀ, ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਦੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ‘ਚ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਦਬੰਗ 3, ਦਬੰਗ 2, ਡੌਲੀ ਕੀ ਡੋਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਅਰਲੇਸ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਇਸ਼ਤਿਹਾਰ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮਲਾਇਕਾ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ
ਇਹ ਜੋੜੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਐਡ ਫਿਲਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੂਟਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮਿਲੀ ਸੀ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮਲਾਇਕਾ ਦੇ ਬੋਲਡ ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਅਰਬਾਜ਼ ਦਾ ਦਿਲ ਟੁੱਟ ਗਿਆ, ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਮਲਾਇਕਾ ਵੀ ਅਰਬਾਜ਼ ਦੀ ਨਿਮਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਸਨੈਲਿਟੀ ਦੀ ਆਦੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਦੋਵੇਂ ਦੋਸਤ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਹੌਲੀ-ਹੌਲੀ ਇਹ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਗਈ। ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਇਹ ਜੋੜੀ ਹਰ ਮੈਗਜ਼ੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਖਬਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ।
ਈਸਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਸਲਿਮ ਰੀਤੀ-ਰਿਵਾਜਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵਿਆਹ ਹੋਇਆ
ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਮਲਾਇਕਾ ਇਸ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਗਲੇ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਰਬਾਜ਼ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਪੋਜ਼ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਮਲਾਇਕਾ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਆਹ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਪੋਜ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਅਰਬਾਜ਼ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇਰੀ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਹਿ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਲਾਇਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਨਿਊ ਅਤੇ ਡੇਟ ਫਿਕਸ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਲ 1998 ‘ਚ ਈਸਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਸਲਿਮ ਰੀਤੀ-ਰਿਵਾਜਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾ ਲਿਆ।

ਸਾਲ 2002 ‘ਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਬੇਟੇ ਅਰਹਾਨ ਨੇ ਜਨਮ ਲਿਆ ਪਰ ਵਿਆਹ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ 18 ਸਾਲ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਵੱਖ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਅਰਬਾਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਮਲਾਇਕਾ ਦਾ ਤਲਾਕ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਹਿੰਗੇ ਤਲਾਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸੀ। ਅਰਬਾਜ਼ ਨੇ ਮਲਾਇਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਜਾਰੇ ਵਜੋਂ 15 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ। ਮਲਾਇਕਾ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੀ ਅਰਬਾਜ਼ ਨੇ ਜਾਰਜੀਆ ਐਂਡਰੇਨੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਡੇਟ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਲਾਇਕਾ ਇਨ੍ਹੀਂ ਦਿਨੀਂ ਅਰਜੁਨ ਕਪੂਰ ਨੂੰ ਡੇਟ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
