ਅਸ਼ਵਿਨ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ, ਆਈਪੀਐਲ ਨਿਲਾਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਹੀਨ ਅਫਰੀਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਦੇ 14-15 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ
ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ। ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਆਫ ਸਪਿਨਰ ਰਵੀਚੰਦਰਨ ਅਸ਼ਵਿਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦਾ ਤੇਜ਼ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ ਸ਼ਾਹੀਨ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਫਰੀਦੀ ਆਈਪੀਐੱਲ ‘ਚ ਖੇਡਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਮੋਟੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। 2008 ਹੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਸਾਲ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਈਪੀਐਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੇਡਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਉਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਤਣਾਅ ਕਾਰਨ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਈਪੀਐਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਰਵੀਚੰਦਰਨ ਅਸ਼ਵਿਨ ਨੇ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ‘ਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਯੂਟਿਊਬ ਚੈਨਲ ‘ਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਤੇਜ਼ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ ‘ਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਲਚਸਪ ਟਿੱਪਣੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸ਼ਾਹੀਨ ਅਫਰੀਦੀ ਸੱਟ ਕਾਰਨ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ ਕੱਪ 2022 ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਸ਼ਾਹੀਨ ਦੀ ਸੱਟ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਅਸ਼ਵਿਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ”ਪਿਛਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਦਾਬ ਖਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੈਰਿਸ ਰਾਊਫ ਨੇ ਚੰਗੀ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਸ਼ਾਹੀਨ ਅਫਰੀਦੀ ਦੀ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਖੇਡ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਅਫਰੀਦੀ ਦੀ ਸੱਟ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਲਈ ਵੱਡਾ ਝਟਕਾ ਹੈ।
ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਪਿਨਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ”ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਸ਼ਾਹੀਨ ਅਫਰੀਦੀ ਆਈਪੀਐੱਲ ਨਿਲਾਮੀ ‘ਚ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਰੋਮਾਂਚਕ ਹੁੰਦਾ। ਇੱਕ ਲੰਬਾ ਖੱਬੇ ਹੱਥ ਦਾ ਤੇਜ਼ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼, ਜੋ ਨਵੀਂ ਗੇਂਦ ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡ ਨੂੰ ਸੈੱਟ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਡੈਥ ਓਵਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਯਾਰਕਰ ਵੀ ਸੁੱਟਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਆਈ.ਪੀ.ਐੱਲ. ਨਿਲਾਮੀ ‘ਚ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ 14-15 ਕਰੋੜ ‘ਚ ਚਲੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ।
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ”ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਤੇਜ਼ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ 140-145 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਘੰਟੇ ਦੀ ਰਫਤਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਦੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਟੀਮ ਕੋਲ ਤੇਜ਼ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੰਨਾ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਬੈਕਅੱਪ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਲਿਹਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਹੀ ਇੰਨੀ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਪੱਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।” ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਮਾਦ ਵਸੀਮ ਦੀ ਗੈਰ-ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਤੁਲਨਾ ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਨਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲ ਵਜੋਂ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਅਸ਼ਵਿਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਇਮਾਦ ਵਸੀਮ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਟੀਮ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਟੀ-20 ਫਾਰਮੈਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਨਿਯਮਤ ਖੇਡ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ, ਉਹ ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਨਵਾਜ਼ ਲਈ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਜਡੇਜਾ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ।
ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਦੇਈਏ ਕਿ ਬਹੁਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ ਲਈ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਟੀਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਅਸ਼ਵਿਨ ਨੇ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ ਕੱਪ 2022 ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਮੈਚ ਖੇਡਣਾ ਹੈ। ਟੀਮ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਜਡੇਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਯੁਜਵੇਂਦਰ ਚਾਹਲ ਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਅਸ਼ਵਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਟੀ-20 ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ 2021 ਟੀਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਅੱਧ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਹੀ ਬਾਹਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੈਸਟਇੰਡੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਪੰਜ ਮੈਚਾਂ ਦੀ ਟੀ-20 ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸੀਰੀਜ਼ ਲਈ ਫਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਟੀਮ ‘ਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
