ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਬੋਲਦਿਆਂ ਡਾ. ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ, ਲੋਕ ਅਦਾਲਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ, ਮੀਡੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਮੁਆਵਜ਼ਾ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਅਥਾਰਟੀ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਜਾਂ ਮਹਿਕਮੇ ਦੇ ਟੋਲ ਫ੍ਰੀ ਨੰਬਰ 1968 ‘ਤੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੂਮੈਨ ਕਮੀਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਸ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪਾਏ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ।
