ਰਾਮਿਆ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਨ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਬਾਹੂਬਲੀ’ ਤੋਂ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਭਰ ‘ਚ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧੀ ਮਿਲੀ। ਰਾਜਮਾਤਾ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਵਾਧਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਰਾਜਮਾਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ‘ਤੇ ਕਈ ਮੀਮ ਸ਼ੇਅਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਰੋਲ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਦੀ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਫਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਸਾਲ 1970 ਵਿੱਚ ਚੇਨਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਨਮੀ ਰਾਮਿਆ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਪਨ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੌਕ ਸੀ, ਉਸਨੇ 14 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਫਿਲਮੀ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਵੇਲੈ ਮਨਸੂ’ ਸੀ।
ਪਹਿਲੀ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਚ ਹੀ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਬੋਲਡ ਸੀਨ
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਰਾਮਿਆ ਨੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਈ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ‘ਚ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਮਿਆ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਫਿਲਮ ਯਸ਼ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਤ ‘ਪਰੰਪਰਾ’ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਹੋਈ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਫਿਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਮਿਆ ਨੇ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਾ ਵਿਨੋਦ ਖੰਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਕਈ ਇੰਟੀਮੇਟ ਸੀਨ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ‘ਖਲਨਾਇਕ’, ‘ਬਨਾਰਸੀ ਬਾਬੂ’, ‘ਚਾਹਤ’, ‘ਬੜੇ ਮੀਆਂ ਛੋਟੇ ਮੀਆਂ’ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਕਈ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ‘ਚ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ‘ਚ ਕਈ ਬੋਲਡ ਸੀਨ ਦੇਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਰਾਮਿਆ ਦਾ ਜਾਦੂ ਚੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਿਵਗਾਮੀ ਦਾ ਰੋਲ ਆਫਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਤਾਮਿਲ, ਤੇਲਗੂ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ‘ਚ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਪਰ ‘ਬਾਹੂਬਲੀ’ ‘ਚ ਸ਼ਿਵਗਾਮੀ ਦੇ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ‘ਚ ਪਛਾਣ ਮਿਲੀ। ‘ਬਾਹੂਬਲੀ’ ‘ਚ ਇਹ ਰੋਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਰਾਮਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਆਫਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਮੇਕਰਸ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਸੁਪਰਸਟਾਰ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਦੇਵੀ ਨੂੰ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਇਸ ਰੋਲ ਲਈ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਦੇਵੀ ਨੇ ਇੰਨੀ ਫੀਸ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਮੇਕਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਮਨ ਬਦਲਣਾ ਪਿਆ। ਮੀਡੀਆ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਦੇਵੀ ਨੇ ਫਿਲਮ ਲਈ ਕਰੀਬ 6 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਫੀਸ ਮੰਗੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਹੋਟਲ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ ਬੁੱਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ।
