Happy Birthday Babita: ਬਬੀਤਾ ਕਪੂਰ ਦਾ ਫ਼ਿਲਮੀ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੰਬਾ ਨਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਫ਼ਿਲਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਖ਼ੂਬਸੂਰਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਹਲਚਲ ਮਚਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਕਰਾਚੀ ‘ਚ ਜੰਮੀ ਬਬੀਤਾ 20 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ 75ਵਾਂ ਜਨਮਦਿਨ ਮਨਾਏਗੀ। ਸੁਪਰਸਟਾਰ ਰਾਜੇਸ਼ ਖੰਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਰਾਜ਼’ ਨਾਲ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ‘ਚ ਡੈਬਿਊ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਬਬੀਤਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਫਿਲਮ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਫੀ ਸੁਰਖੀਆਂ ਬਟੋਰੀਆਂ ਸਨ। 70 ਦੇ ਦਹਾਕੇ ਦੀ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਆਈਕਨ ਰਹੀ ਇਸ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਸੁਪਰਹਿੱਟ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ‘ਚ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਪਰ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਪਿਆਰ ਲਈ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਬੀਤਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਨੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਉਸਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਫਲਾਇੰਗ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਤ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਕਪੂਰ ਖਾਨਦਾਨ ਦੀ ਨੂੰਹ ਬਣ ਗਈ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਸਫਰ ਇੰਨਾ ਆਸਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅੱਜ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਦੇ ਜਨਮਦਿਨ ‘ਤੇ ਜਾਣੋ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀਆਂ ਕੁਝ ਖਾਸ ਗੱਲਾਂ।
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਮਿਲੇ ਸਨ
ਦਰਅਸਲ, ਰਣਧੀਰ ਕਪੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਬੀਤਾ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਸਾਲ 1969 ‘ਚ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਸੰਗਮ’ ਦੇ ਸੈੱਟ ‘ਤੇ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਰਣਧੀਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਰਾਜ ਕਪੂਰ ਨਾਲ ਫਿਲਮ ਦੇ ਸੈੱਟ ‘ਤੇ ਆਏ ਸਨ। ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਬਬੀਤਾ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਚੋਟੀ ਦੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਸੀ। ਫਿਲਮ ਦੇ ਸੈੱਟ ‘ਤੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਬੀਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਿਆ, ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਜ਼ਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਣਧੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਬੀਤਾ ਨੇ ਦੋ ਸਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਇਕ-ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਡੇਟ ਕੀਤਾ। 1971 ‘ਚ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਪੂਰ ਦੀ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਕਲ ਆਜ ਔਰ ਕਲ’ ‘ਚ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਫਿਲਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੂਟਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹੀ ਰਾਜ ਕਪੂਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੇਟੇ ਰਣਧੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਬੀਤਾ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ।
ਰਣਧੀਰ ਲਈ ਫਿਲਮੀ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ
ਰਾਜ ਕਪੂਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਵਿਚ ਬਬੀਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀ ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਨੂੰਹ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਵੀ ਤਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਤ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਕਪੂਰ ਨੂੰਹ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ‘ਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬਬੀਤਾ ਅੱਗੇ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਰਤ ਰੱਖੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਰਣਧੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਲਮੀ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਚੀਜ਼ ਚੁਣੋ? ਬਬੀਤਾ ਵੀ ਰਣਧੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ, ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਸਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਫਿਲਮ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ਛੱਡਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ 6 ਨਵੰਬਰ 1971 ਨੂੰ ਰਣਧੀਰ ਕਪੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਬੀਤਾ ਕਪੂਰ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾ ਲਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਆਈ ਦੂਰੀ
ਵਿਆਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਬਬੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਰਣਧੀਰ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ‘ਚ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਠੀਕ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਸਾਲ 1974 ‘ਚ ਰਣਧੀਰ ਦਾ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਹੌਲੀ-ਹੌਲੀ ਅੰਤ ਵੱਲ ਵਧਣ ਲੱਗਾ ਅਤੇ 1980 ‘ਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੂਜੀ ਬੇਟੀ ਕਰੀਨਾ ਕਪੂਰ ਨੇ ਜਨਮ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਬੀਤਾ- ਰਣਧੀਰ ਦੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਾਰ ਆ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਸਾਲ 1988 ‘ਚ ਰਣਧੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਬੀਤਾ ਨੇ ਇਕ-ਦੂਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਖ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਰਣਧੀਰ ਘਰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਕੋਲ ਰਹਿਣ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬਬੀਤਾ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਦੋ ਬੇਟੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੀ।
19 ਸਾਲ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਟੜੀ ‘ਤੇ ਆਇਆ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਾ
19 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਬਾਅਦ 2007 ਵਿੱਚ ਰਣਧੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਬੀਤਾ ਨੇ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਆਉਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਜੋੜਾ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਕਦੇ ਤਲਾਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਰਣਧੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਬੀਤਾ ਦੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਖਾਸ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਤਭੇਦ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ। ਰਣਧੀਰ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਇੰਟਰਵਿਊ ‘ਚ ਕਿਹਾ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਬੁਰਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਬਹੁਤ ਪੀਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਰ ਨਾਲ ਘਰ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਪਸੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।’
