Bappi Lahiri Birthday: ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਿਨੇਮਾ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ, ਜਿਸਨੇ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੌਕ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਜ਼ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਿਰਫ 3 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ‘ਚ ਤਬਲਾ ਵਜਾਉਣਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਜੀ ਹਾਂ, ਇੱਥੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ਦੇ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਗਾਇਕ ਬੱਪੀ ਲਹਿਰੀ ਦੀ। ਬੱਪੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ‘ਚ 500 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਗੀਤ ਕੰਪੋਜ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ। ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸੋਨੇ ਦਾ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਸ਼ੌਕੀਨ ਸੀ। ਅੱਜ 27 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ 72ਵਾਂ ਜਨਮ ਦਿਨ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਖਾਸ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਾਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਨੇ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੌਕ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਗਾਇਕ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੋਨੇ ‘ਚ ਦਿਲਚਸਪੀ ਵਧੀ
ਬੱਪੀ ਲਹਿਰੀ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 27 ਨਵੰਬਰ 1952 ਨੂੰ ਜਲਪਾਈਗੁੜੀ, ਪੱਛਮੀ ਬੰਗਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਸਲੀ ਨਾਂ ਅਲੋਕੇਸ਼ ਸੀ, ਬੱਪੀ ਨਹੀਂ। ਫਿਲਮ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ‘ਚ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਈ ਨਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਛਾਣ ਮਿਲੀ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ‘ਚੋਂ ‘ਡਿਸਕੋ ਕਿੰਗ’ ਅਤੇ ‘ਗੋਲਡ ਮੈਨ’ ਕਾਫੀ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਹੋਏ। ਬੱਪੀ ਲਹਿਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਗਾਇਕ ਐਲਵਿਸ ਪ੍ਰੈਸਲੇ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ੌਕ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਐਲਵਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੇ ਦੀਵਾਨੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਇਕ ਇੰਟਰਵਿਊ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ‘ਮੈਂ ਹਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਗਾਇਕ ਐਲਵਿਸ ਪ੍ਰੈਸਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਗਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਚੇਨ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਟਾਈਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਸੰਦ ਆਇਆ।’ ਬੱਪੀ ਨੇ ਸਾਲ 2014 ‘ਚ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ 754 ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਸੋਨਾ ਅਤੇ 4.62 ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਬੱਪੀ ਲਹਿਰੀ ਦਾ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ
ਬੱਪੀ ਲਹਿਰੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਬੰਗਾਲੀ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਦਾਦੂ’ (1974) ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਲਤਾ ਮੰਗੇਸ਼ਕਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਗਾਏ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਬੱਪੀ ਨੇ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ‘ਚ ਸਾਲ 1973 ‘ਚ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਨੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰੀ’ ਨਾਲ ਡੈਬਿਊ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ। ਬੱਪੀ ਲਹਿਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਲੀ ਪਛਾਣ 1982 ਵਿੱਚ ਆਈ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਡਿਸਕੋ ਡਾਂਸਰ’ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਾਏ ਗੀਤ ‘ਆਈ ਐਮ ਏ ਡਿਸਕੋ ਡਾਂਸਰ’ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਲੀ। ਇਸ ਗੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਗਾਇਕ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਸੀ ਵਿਜੇ ਬੈਨੇਡਿਕਟ।
ਕਿਸ਼ੋਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਖਾਸ ਸਬੰਧ ਸਨ
