ਜਿੱਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ Justin Trudeau ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਐਲਾਨ
Vancouver – ਫ਼ੈਡਰਲ ਚੋਣਾਂ ‘ਚ ਜਿੱਤ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਜਸਟਿਨ ਟਰੂਡੋ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਟਰੂਡੋ ਅੱਜ ਓਟਵਾ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਵੈਕਸੀਨੇਸ਼ਨ ਕਲਿਨਿਕ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਗਏ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਬੋਲਦਿਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੋਕਸ ਫ਼ੈਡਰਲ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਵੈਕਸੀਨੇਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮਤਲੱਬ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਟਰੇਨ , ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਜਾਂ ਸ਼ਿਪ ‘ਚ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਵੈਕਸੀਨ ਲੱਗੀ ਹੋਂਣੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਵੈਕਸੀਨੇਸ਼ਨ ਨੀਤੀ ਦੇ ਵੇਰਵਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਿਲਹਾਲ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਰੂਪ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਬਾਕੀ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅਜੇ ਫ਼ੈਡਰਲ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਕਈ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਸੈਕਟਰ ਯੂਨੀਅਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਟਰੂਡੋ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵੈਕਸੀਨ ਲਗਵਾਉ ਜਾਂ ਫ਼ੇਫ਼ਿਰ ਪਾਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਰਹੋ !
ਦੱਸਦਈਏ ਕਿ ਯੂ ਐਸ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਕਈ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਵੈਕਸੀਨੇਸ਼ਨ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਯੂ ਐਸ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਲਹਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਵੈਕਸੀਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦਵੇਗਾ।ਟਰੂਡੋ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਲਈ ਵੈਕਸੀਨ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਰੂਪ ਦੇ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਕੈਨੇਡੀਅਨਜ਼ ਲਈ ਬੌਰਡਰ ਰੋਕਾਂ ਘਟਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਮਕਸਦ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਵੈਕਸੀਨ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਵਿਚਾਰ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਟਰੂਡੋ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਫ਼ੈਡਰਲ ਕੈਬਿਨੇਟ ਵਿਚ ਫ਼ਾਇਨੈਂਸ ਮਿਨਿਸਟਰ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ‘ਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਟੀਆ ਫ਼੍ਰੀਲੈਂਡ ਹੀ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਫ਼੍ਰੀਲੈਂਡ, ਪਿਛਲੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੀ, ਇਸ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦਾ ਅਹੁਦਾ ਸੰਭਾਲਣਗੇ। ਟਰੂਡੋ ਨੇ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਕੈਬਿਨੇਟ ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਤਾਰੀਖ਼ ‘ਤੇ ਰਸਮੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਚੁੱਕੇਗੀ। ਟ੍ਰੂਡੋ ਨੇ ‘ਫ਼ੌਲ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ’ (ਸਤੰਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਨਵੰਬਰ) ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਾਰਲੀਮੈਂਟ ਦਾ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਗੱਲ ਆਖੀ ਹੈ।
