ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ: ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੇ 75 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਪੀਐਮ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ‘5ਜੀ-ਯੁੱਗ’ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੀਐਮ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ 5ਜੀ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਸੇਵਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਣ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ‘techade’ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਲਈ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਤਕਨੀਕ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਾਰਟਫੋਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ 2026 ਵਿੱਚ 6 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਵਧ ਕੇ 40 ਕਰੋੜ ਡਿਵਾਈਸਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸੰਖਿਆ 2021 ਵਿੱਚ 300 ਮਿਲੀਅਨ ਸੀ। 5ਜੀ ਲਾਂਚ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇਹ ਮੰਗ ਵਧ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਹਾਈ-ਸਪੀਡ ਗੇਮਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਰਿਮੋਟ ਹੈਲਥਕੇਅਰ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਐਪਲੀਕੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ 5G ਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਅਪਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਤਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
