Meanwhile, after a gap of 7 months, cinema halls and multiplexes are reopening in several parts of the country from today, with 50% of their total seating capacity, as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
The Centre government allowed theatres, multiplexes, and cinema halls to reopen from October 15.
The Home Affairs Ministry, however, left it to the states to take a final decision on the matter.
