ਡੈਸਕ- ਸਾਬਕਾ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਰਾਜ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਬਾਲਾ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਰਤਨ ਲਾਲ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਦਾ ਲੰਬੀ ਬੀਮਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
ਰਤਨ ਲਾਲ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕਈ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਪੀਜੀਆਈ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਸਨ। ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਬਿਪਲਬ ਦੇਵ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਪਿਛਲੇ 50 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਰਐਸਐਸ ਦੇ ਸਵੈਮ ਸੇਵਕ ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾਣੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੀਜਨ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਨਿਗਮ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵੀ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਰਤਨ ਲਾਲ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 19 ਦਸੰਬਰ 1951 ਨੂੰ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਯਮੁਨਾਨਗਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਸੰਧਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਬੇਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੁਰੂਕਸ਼ੇਤਰ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੀਏ ਆਨਰਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਐਲਐਲਬੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪੀਜੀਆਈ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਚਕੂਲਾ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ। ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਬਾਅਦ ਮਨੀਮਾਜਰਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਸਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਰਤਨ ਲਾਲ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਤੋਂ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਨਫੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਪੀਜੀਆਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਸਨ। 4 ਮਈ ਨੂੰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੀਜੀਆਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਦੀ 40ਵੀਂ ਵਰ੍ਹੇਗੰਢ ਮਨਾਈ ਸੀ।
ਦੱਸ ਦੇਈਏ ਕਿ ਯਮੁਨਾ ਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਸੰਧਲੀ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ 19 ਦਸੰਬਰ 1951 ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮੇ ਰਤਨ ਲਾਲ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਪੰਚਕੂਲਾ ਦੇ ਮਨਸਾ ਦੇਵੀ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਐਸਡੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਛਾਉਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਬੀਏ ਆਨਰਜ਼ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੇਯੂਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਮਏ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਉਥੋਂ ਐਲਐਲਬੀ ਦੀ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਰਤਨ ਲਾਲ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਣ, ਕਵਿਤਾਵਾਂ ਲਿਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੌਕ ਸੀ। ਪਿਤਾ ਜੋਤੀ ਰਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਪਰਵਾਰੀ ਦੇਵੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਰਤਨ ਲਾਲ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਤਨੀ ਬੰਤੋ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਧੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਰਤਨ ਲਾਲ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਨੂੰ 1980 ਵਿੱਚ ਬੀਜੇਵਾਈਐਮ ਦਾ ਸੂਬਾ ਮੀਤ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਸੂਬਾ ਬੁਲਾਰੇ, ਸੂਬਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ, ਅਨੁਸੂਚਿਤ ਜਾਤੀ ਮੋਰਚਾ ਦੇ ਆਲ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਜਨਰਲ ਸਕੱਤਰ, ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜੂਨ 2001 ਤੋਂ ਸਤੰਬਰ 2003 ਤੱਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦਾ ਸੂਬਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। 1987-1990 ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਸੰਸਦੀ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੀਜਨ ਭਲਾਈ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਬਣੇ। ਜੂਨ 1997 ਤੋਂ ਜੂਨ 1999 ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਵੇਅਰਹਾਊਸਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਰਹੇ।
ਰਤਨ ਲਾਲ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ 6 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ 1999 ਨੂੰ ਅੰਬਾਲਾ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਇਸੇ ਸੀਟ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਜ ਸਭਾ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਸ਼ੈਲਜਾ ਤੋਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਦੋ ਵਾਰ ਹਾਰ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਸਾਲ 2014 ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਿੱਤ ਦਾ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਸੀ। 2014 ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਸਨੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਰਾਜਕੁਮਾਰ ਵਾਲਮੀਕੀ ਨੂੰ 3,40074 ਵੋਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾਇਆ। ਇਸ ਜਿੱਤ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਬਣ ਗਏ।
CM ਮਨੋਹਰ ਲਾਲ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕੀਤਾ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਰਾਜ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਬਾਲਾ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਰਤਨ ਲਾਲ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਦੇ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁਖੀ ਹਾਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਹੀ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੇ ਭਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਲਈ ਸੰਸਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਬੁਲੰਦ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਾਣ ਨਾਲ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਘਾਟਾ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਵਿਛੜੀ ਰੂਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਬਖਸ਼ੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਔਖੀ ਘੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਣਾ ਮੰਨਣ ਦਾ ਬਲ ਬਖਸ਼ੇ।
