ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ: ਅਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੇ 75 ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਮਨਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਪੂਰੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਰੰਗੇ ਦੇ ਰੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੰਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਝੰਡਾ ਲਹਿਰਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹਰ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤੀ ਦੇ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਤੱਕ, ਇਸ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਊਰਜਾ ਭਰੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤੀ ਲਈ ਜਾਣੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਮਹਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧੋਨੀ ਵੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦਾ ਜਸ਼ਨ ਮਨਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਧੋਨੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਮਹਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧੋਨੀ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ‘ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਐਕਟਿਵ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ ਪਰ 75 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਜਸ਼ਨ ‘ਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਲਗਭਗ ਦੋ ਸਾਲ ਬਾਅਦ ਆਪਣੇ ਇੰਸਟਾਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਅਕਾਊਂਟ ‘ਚ ਕੁਝ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਧੋਨੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਇੰਸਟਾਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਫਾਈਲ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਧੋਨੀ ਨੇ ਫੋਟੋ ਅਤੇ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਬਲਾਗਿੰਗ ਵੈੱਬਸਾਈਟ ‘ਤੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਝੰਡੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਫਾਈਲ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਤਿਰੰਗੇ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਲਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਧੋਨੀ ਨੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ- ‘ਮੈਂ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹੋਣ ‘ਤੇ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਹਾਂ।’ ਪ੍ਰੋਫਾਈਲ ਤਸਵੀਰ ‘ਚ ਇਹ ਲਾਈਨ ਹਿੰਦੀ, ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਸਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਤਿੰਨੋਂ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ‘ਚ ਲਿਖੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਸਾਬਕਾ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਫੈਨ ਫਾਲੋਇੰਗ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਹਤਰੀਨ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵਿਕਟਕੀਪਰ, ਕਪਤਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਨਿਸ਼ਰ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਖੇਡ ਜਗਤ ‘ਚ ਵੱਖਰੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਬਣਾਈ ਹੈ। ਕ੍ਰਿਕੇਟ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਧੋਨੀ ਇੱਕਲੌਤਾ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਤਿੰਨੋਂ ICC ਟਰਾਫੀਆਂ ਜਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਧੋਨੀ ਦੀ ਕਪਤਾਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ, ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਟੀ-20 ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ 2007, ਵਨਡੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ 2011 ਅਤੇ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨਜ਼ ਟਰਾਫੀ 2013 ਜਿੱਤਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਇੰਨਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟਰ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵੀ, ਧੋਨੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਫਰਜ਼ ਸਮਝਿਆ। ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੇਟੀ ਜੀਵਾ ਦੇ ਜਨਮ ‘ਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਸਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ।
ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛੇ ਜਾਣ ‘ਤੇ ਧੋਨੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ”ਮੇਰੀ ਇਕ ਬੇਟੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਮਾਂ-ਧੀ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ‘ਤੇ ਹਾਂ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੇਰਾ ਅਨੁਮਾਨ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬਾਕੀ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਹੈ।” 100% ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਕਰਤੱਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਧੋਨੀ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੌਜ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਏ। 41 ਸਾਲਾ ਧੋਨੀ ਇੰਡੀਅਨ ਟੈਰੀਟੋਰੀਅਲ ਆਰਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈਫਟੀਨੈਂਟ ਕਰਨਲ ਦਾ ਆਨਰੇਰੀ ਰੈਂਕ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਪੈਰਾਟਰੂਪਰ ਵੀ ਹੈ।
ਧੋਨੀ ਨੇ 2019 ਵਨਡੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜੰਮੂ ਅਤੇ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਰਾਸ਼ੂਟ ਰੈਜੀਮੈਂਟ (106 ਪੈਰਾ ਟੀਏ ਬਟਾਲੀਅਨ) ਦੀ ਟੈਰੀਟੋਰੀਅਲ ਆਰਮੀ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਖੇਪ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਲ ਵੀ ਲਿਆ।
