ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ 16 ਮਈ 1992 ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਪਟੜੀ ‘ਤੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਗਈ। ਇਹ ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਐਲਬਮ ਆਈ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਹ ਬੀ.ਕਾਮ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਐਲਬਮ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਸੀ ‘ਗੋਭੀ ਦੀਏ, ਕਚਿਏ ਵਪਾਰਨੇ’। ਇਸ ‘ਚ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ‘ਤੇ ਵਿਅੰਗ ਕੱਸਦਿਆਂ ਚੁਟਕੀ ਲਈ।

ਇਸ ਤਰੀਕ ‘ਤੇ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਪਲ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ 16 ਮਈ 2011 ਨੂੰ ਕਲਾਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਔਖੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੰਘਿਆ ਸੀ।

16 ਮਈ 2014 ਨੂੰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਐਲਾਨੇ ਗਏ। ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਤਰਫੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸੰਗਰੂਰ ਤੋਂ ਚੋਣ ਲੜੇ ਸਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਆਏ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਚੋਣ ਜਿੱਤ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਉਹ 16ਵੀਂ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਲਈ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਾਰ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਸੀਟਾਂ ਜਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਸਨ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ 26ਵੇਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਹੁੰ ਚੁੱਕੀ। ਮਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦਾ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਬਾਦਲ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ 42 ਸਾਲ ਸੀ।
ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਸ ਸਭ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਨੰਬਰ 16 ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਾਸ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ‘ਤੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਰੱਖਾਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਘੋਸ਼ਣਾ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿੰਨੀ ਵਾਰ ਹੋਰ ਨੰਬਰ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇਗਾ।
