ਜੀਆ ਖਾਨ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 20 ਫਰਵਰੀ 1988 ਨੂੰ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਸਿਰਫ ਦੋ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਸਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਰਿਜ਼ਵੀ ਖਾਨ ਨੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਰਾਬੀਆ ਖਾਨ ਲੰਡਨ ਸ਼ਿਫਟ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਲਣ-ਪੋਸ਼ਣ ਅਤੇ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਹੋਈ।ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਦੇਈਏ ਕਿ ਜੀਆ ਦਾ ਅਸਲੀ ਨਾਮ ਨਫੀਸਾ ਰਿਜ਼ਵੀ ਖਾਨ ਸੀ।ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜੀਆ ਨੇ 16 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੇ ਪੌਪ ਗੀਤ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਕੀਤੇ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਉਹ ਡਾਂਸ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੌਕੀਨ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਲਸਾ, ਜੈਜ਼, ਕਥਕ, ਬੈਲੇ, ਰੇਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਲੀ ਡਾਂਸ ਵੀ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ।

ਜੀਆ ਨੇ ਰਾਮ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਵਰਮਾ ਦੀ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਨਿਸ਼ਬਦ’ ਨਾਲ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ‘ਚ ਡੈਬਿਊ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ‘ਬਿੱਗ ਬੀ’ ਯਾਨੀ ਅਮਿਤਾਭ ਬੱਚਨ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜੀਆ ਨੇ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਦਿਲ’ ‘ਚ ਮਨੀਸ਼ਾ ਕੋਇਰਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਬਚਪਨ ਦਾ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਵੀ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ‘ਨਿਸ਼ਬਦ’ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜੀਆ ਖਾਨ ਆਮਿਰ ਖਾਨ ਵਰਗੇ ਸਟਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਗਜਨੀ’ ‘ਚ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਈ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜੀਆ ਨੇ ‘ਹਾਊਸਫੁੱਲ’ ‘ਚ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜੀਆ ਕੋਈ ਫਿਲਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕੀ।
ਫਾਹਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਅਲਵਿਦਾ ਕਹਿ ਦਿੱਤਾ
3 ਜੂਨ 2013 ਨੂੰ ਜੀਆ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ‘ਚ ਫਾਹਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਅਲਵਿਦਾ ਕਹਿ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਘਰੋਂ 6 ਪੰਨਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸੁਸਾਈਡ ਨੋਟ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਹੋਇਆ, ਜਿਸ ‘ਚ ਜੀਆ ਨੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਪੰਚੋਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਸੀ। ਸੁਸਾਈਡ ਨੋਟ ‘ਚ ਜੀਆ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੂਰਜ ਪੰਚੋਲੀ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਗਰਭਪਾਤ ਕਰਵਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਜੀਆ ਨੇ ਸੂਰਜ ‘ਤੇ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਤਸ਼ੱਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਸੀ।
