ਦੋ-ਪਹੀਆ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਵਾਹਨ ਖਰੀਦਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਵੱਡੀ ਖੁਸ਼ਖ਼ਬਰੀ
ਟੀਵੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਬਿਊਰੋ- ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਕਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਫੇਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਤਹਿਤ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਦੋਪਹੀਆ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਬਸਿਡੀ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ 15,000 ਰੁਪਏ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਬਰਾਬਰ 10,000 ਰੁਪਏ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਕਿਲੋਵਾਟ ਘੰਟਾ ਸੀ। ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਦੋਪਹੀਆ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਕਦਮ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਵਾਤਵਰਣ ਪੱਖੀ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਪਾਸਾ ਪਲਟਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕਦਮ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਦੋਪਹੀਆ ਲਈ ਸਬਸਿਡੀ ਦੀ ਸੀਮਾ ਵਾਹਨ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਲ ਲਾਗਤ ਦੇ 40 ਫ਼ੀਸਦੀ ਤੱਕ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 20 ਫ਼ੀਸਦੀ ਸੀ।
ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਐਥਰ ਐਨਰਜ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਸੀ. ਈ. ਓ. ਤੇ ਸਹਿ-ਸੰਸਥਾਪਕ ਤਰੁਣ ਮਹਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ”ਫੇਮ-2 ਨੀਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਸੋਧ ਜ਼ਰੀਏ ਸਬਸਿਡੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਕਿਲੋਵਾਟ ਘੰਟੇ ਦੇ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਨਾਲ ਲਗਭਗ 50 ਫ਼ੀਸਦੀ ਵਧਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਕਦਮ ਹੈ। ਉਨਾ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮਹਾਮਾਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਦੋਪਹੀਆ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਕਰੀ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਵਧੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਜ਼ਬਰਦਸਤ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਸਾਡਾ ਅਨੁਮਾਨ ਹੈ ਕਿ 2025 ਤੱਕ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਦੋਪਹੀਆ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਕਰੀ 60 ਲੱਖ ਇਕਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।” ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਵਧਾਉਣ ‘ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੇ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤਹਿਤ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਦੋਪਹੀਆ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ‘ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਰਤ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਦਾ ਧੁਰਾ ਬਣ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ ਆਫ਼ ਮੈਨੂਫੈਕਚਰਜ਼ ਆਫ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਵਹੀਕਲਜ਼ (ਐੱਸ. ਐੱਮ. ਈ. ਵੀ.) ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਜਨਰਲ, ਸੋਹਿੰਦਰ ਗਿੱਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਇਕ ਚਾਰਜ ਵਿਚ 100 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਚੱਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਿਟੀ ਸਪੀਡ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਸਕੂਟਰ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ 60,000 ਰੁਪਏ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ, 80 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦੀ ਰੇਂਜ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੇਜ਼ ਰਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਸਕੂਟਰ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਲਗਭਗ ਇਕ ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਬੈਠੇਗੀ।
