ਸਿਆਚਿਨ ਗਲੇਸ਼ੀਅਰ – Siachen Glacier
ਸਿਆਚਿਨ ਗਲੇਸ਼ੀਅਰ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਕਾਰਾਕੋਰਮ ਰੇਂਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਸਿਆਚਿਨ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਠੰਢੇ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇਹ ਪੂਰੇ ਗੈਰ-ਧਰੁਵੀ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਠੰਢੇ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ। ਇੱਥੇ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚੀ ਬਰਫਬਾਰੀ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇੱਥੇ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ -50 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ ਤੱਕ ਚਲਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਇਹ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਠੰਡੇ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੈ। ਇੱਥੇ ਸਿਆਚਿਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ -10 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ ਤੱਕ ਚਲਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇੱਥੇ ਠੰਢ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਈ ਫ਼ੌਜੀ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਗੁਆ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ।
ਸੇਲਾ ਪਾਸ, ਤਵਾਂਗ – Sela Pass, Tawang
ਸੇਲਾ ਪਾਸ ਆਪਣੀ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਲਈ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਬੋਧੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤਵਾਂਗ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਜਪੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਹਾਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ। ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੌਸਮ ‘ਚ ਇੱਥੇ ਠੰਡ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਰਾਹਤ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਇੱਥੇ ਸਰਦੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸਰਦੀਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਰਫ਼ਬਾਰੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸੇਲਾ ਪਾਸ ਹਿਮਾਲਿਆ ਵਿਚ 4170 ਮੀਟਰ ਦੀ ਉਚਾਈ ‘ਤੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਤੂਬਰ, ਨਵੰਬਰ, ਮਾਰਚ, ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਅਤੇ ਮਈ ਦੇ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਜਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇੱਥੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਬਰਫ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਵੀ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਦਾ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਲਗਭਗ -15 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਤੱਕ ਚਲਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਲੇਹ ਲੱਦਾਖ – Leh, Ladakh
ਲੇਹ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸਥਾਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਅਮੀਰ ਹੈ। ਇੱਥੇ ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ 7 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ ਤੱਕ ਚਲਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਫਿਰ ਸਰਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ -12 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇੱਥੇ ਇੰਨੀ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਬਰਫਬਾਰੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਬਣ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇੱਥੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੱਠ ਅਤੇ ਝੀਲਾਂ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਲੇਹ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਸਥਾਨ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਲੇਹ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤਲ ਤੋਂ 3000 ਮੀਟਰ ਦੀ ਉਚਾਈ ‘ਤੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਲੱਦਾਖ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਹਾੜੀਆਂ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤਲ ਤੋਂ 11,000 ਫੁੱਟ ਦੀ ਉਚਾਈ ‘ਤੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਦੇਖਣ ‘ਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਲੱਗਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
