ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਉਦੈ ਸਾਮੰਤ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਤਰ ਲਿਖ ਕੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਯੂਕਰੇਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਰਹੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ 1200 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ। ਉਚੇਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸਾਮੰਤ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਮਿਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਐਸ ਜੈਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਤਰ ਵੀ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਾਮੰਤ ਨੇ ਪੱਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਯੂਕਰੇਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੰਗ ਵਰਗੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ, ਉੱਥੇ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਰਹੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਖ਼ਤਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।”
ਸੀ.ਪੀ.ਆਈ. ਦੇ ਐਮਪੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਤਰ ਲਿਖਿਆ
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੇ ਯੂਕਰੇਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੇ 1200 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਣ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਸੀਪੀਆਈ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਸਭਾ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਬਿਨੋਏ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਮ ਨੇ ਯੂਕਰੇਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਲਈ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਡਾ: ਐਸ ਜੈਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਤਰ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਦਖਲ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਵਲਾਦੀਮੀਰ ਪੁਤਿਨ ਨੇ ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਯੂਕਰੇਨ ਦੀ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰੂਸ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਟੋ ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਮਤਭੇਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹੀ ਹੱਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਕੂਟਨੀਤਕ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਵੱਲ ਮੁੜਨ ਲਈ ਯਤਨ ਕਰਨ।

ਯੂਕਰੇਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਰੂਸੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਡਿਪਲੋਮੈਟਿਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਯੂਕਰੇਨ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਾਰਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿਕਲਣ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਪਰਤਣ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲ ਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
