Gulshan Kumar Death Anniversary: ਸੁਪਨਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਨੇ ਗੁਲਸ਼ਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਚਾਈਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਉਸੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ‘ਚ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਅੰਤ ਵੀ ਹੋਇਆ। ਇਹ 12 ਅਗਸਤ 1997 ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਮਿਊਜ਼ਿਕ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ਦੇ ਬੇਦਾਗ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਗੁਲਸ਼ਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਕਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ 5 ਮਈ 1951 ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਏ ਗੁਲਸ਼ਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਦੀ ਪੌੜੀ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਸਿਖਰ ’ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ। ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਦਰਿਆਗੰਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਲੀਆਂ ‘ਚ ਜੂਸ ਦਾ ਸਟਾਲ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਗੁਲਸ਼ਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਦੇਰ ਤੱਕ ਇਸ ਕੰਮ ‘ਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਸਕਿਆ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਚੰਦਰਭਾਨ ਨੇ ਕੈਸੇਟਾਂ ਵੇਚਣੀਆਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ, ਇੱਥੋਂ ਹੀ ਗੁਲਸ਼ਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਲਈ ਬਦਲ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਟੀ-ਸੀਰੀਜ਼ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਦੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਦਾ ਬੇਮਿਸਾਲ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਤੈਅ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਟੀ-ਸੀਰੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਸ਼ਿਕੀ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਲੀ ਪਛਾਣ
ਮੁੰਬਈ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਗੁਲਸ਼ਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਦੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਅਤੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਆਇਆ, ਉਸਨੇ 15 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਬੇਵਫਾ ਸਨਮ’ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਨ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਨਿਰਮਿਤ ਫਿਲਮ 1989 ਵਿੱਚ ‘ਲਾਲ ਦੁਪੱਟਾ ਮਲਮਲ’ ਸੀ। ‘, ਪਰ ਟੀ-ਸੀਰੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਲਮ ਆਸ਼ਿਕੀ (1990) ਨਾਲ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਸਲ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧੀ ਮਿਲੀ। ਇਸ ਫਿਲਮ ਦੇ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਕੈਸੇਟਾਂ ਰਾਤੋ-ਰਾਤ ਵਿਕ ਗਈਆਂ।
ਗੁਲਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਪੈਸੇ ‘ਤੇ ਅੰਡਰਵਰਲਡ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ
ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗੁਲਸ਼ਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਮਾਂ ਦੁਰਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਗਤ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਧਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਲੋੜਵੰਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਉਸਨੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਸਾਲ 1993 ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਲਸ਼ਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਉੱਚ ਟੈਕਸ ਦਾਤਾ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਲੇ ਦਾ ਕੰਡਾ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮੀਡੀਆ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਅੰਡਰਵਰਲਡ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਗੁਲਸ਼ਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਦੇ ਪੈਸਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਪਈ ਸੀ।
ਮੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹੀ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਲੈ ਲਈ।
ਅੰਡਰਵਰਲਡ ਡਾਨ ਅਬੂ ਸਲੇਮ ਨੇ ਗੁਲਸ਼ਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਤੋਂ 5 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਗੁਲਸ਼ਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਫ਼ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਅਬੂ ਸਲੇਮ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਗੁਲਸ਼ਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾਈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਅਬੂ ਸਲੇਮ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੇਬਾਜ਼ ਰਾਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਭੇਜਿਆ, ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ 12 ਅਗਸਤ 1997 ਨੂੰ ਗੁਲਸ਼ਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਦੇ ਜੀਤ ਨਗਰ ਸਥਿਤ ਮਹਾਦੇਵ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਸ਼ੂਟਰ ਰਾਜਾ ਨੇ ਗੁਲਸ਼ਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ‘ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭੁੰਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਸ਼ੂਟਰ ਰਾਜਾ ਨੇ ਗੁਲਸ਼ਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਰੀਬ 15 ਮਿੰਟ ਤੱਕ ਆਪਣਾ ਫੋਨ ਆਨ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਸੀ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੀਕਾਂ ਅੰਡਰਵਰਲਡ ਡਾਨ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਸਕਣ।
