ਜਲੰਧਰ : ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਚਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਨੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ-ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ‘ਤੇ 2 ਕਿਲੋਵਾਟ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਖਪਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਕਾਇਆ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਬਿਲ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਦਾ ਲਾਭ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਸਰਕਲ ਵਿਚ 12 ਨਵੰਬਰ 2021 ਤੱਕ 2 ਕਿਲੋਵਾਟ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਲੋਡ ਵਾਲੇ 16828 ਘਰੇਲੂ ਖਪਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ 20.35 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਬਕਾਇਆ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਬਿਲ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਘਨਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਥੋਰੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਸਰਕਲ (ਉੱਤਰੀ ਜ਼ੋਨ) ਅਧੀਨ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਡਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਵਿਚ 2 ਕਿਲੋਵਾਟ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਲੋਡ ਵਾਲੇ 1530 ਘਰੇਲੂ ਖਪਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ 141.65 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਬਕਾਇਆ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਬਿਲ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।
ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਾਡਲ ਟਾਊਨ ਡਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ 9523 ਘਰੇਲੂ ਖਪਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ 1092.4 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ, ਪੱਛਮੀ ਡਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ 2630 ਘਰੇਲੂ ਖਪਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ 410.00 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਂਟ ਡਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ 3145 ਘਰੇਲੂ ਖਪਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ 391.72 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਬਕਾਇਆ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਬਿੱਲ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਦਾ ਹਰੇਕ ਵਰਗ ਦੇ ਲੋੜਵੰਦ ਖ਼ਪਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਲਾਭ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪੀ.ਐਸ.ਪੀ.ਸੀ.ਐਲ.ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਥੋਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੋ ਕਿਲੋਵਾਟ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਲਾਭਪਾਤਰੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਕਾਇਆ ਬਿੱਲ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਟੇਟ ਪਾਵਰ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਲਿਮਟਿਡ ਦੇ ਸੁਵਿਧਾ ਸੈਂਟਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਫ਼ਤਰੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਵੇਰੇ 9 ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮ 5 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਇਕ ਲੱਖ ਲਾਭਪਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਦਾ ਲਾਭ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਯੋਗ ਲਾਭਪਾਤਰੀ ਬਕਾਇਆ ਬਿੱਲ ਮੁਆਫ਼ੀ ਲਈ ਪੀ.ਐਸ.ਪੀ.ਸੀ.ਐਲ ਦੇ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਸਰਕਲ ਅਧੀਨ ਪੈਂਦੀਆਂ ਡਵੀਜ਼ਨਾਂ ਵੈਸਟ ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਮਕਸੂਦਾਂ, ਮਾਡਲ ਟਾਊਨ ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਸਟੇਡੀਅਮ , ਪੂਰਬੀ ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਫੋਕਲ ਪੁਆਇੰਟ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਪਠਾਨਕੋਟ ਬਾਈਪਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਂਟ ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਬੜਿੰਗਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਵੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਸਨ।
ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਯੋਗ ਲਾਭਪਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੋ ਕਿਲੋਵਾਟ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਬਿੱਲਾਂ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਪੀ.ਐਸ.ਪੀ.ਸੀ.ਐਲ ਦੇ ਉਕਤ ਸੁਵਿਧਾ ਸੈਂਟਰਾ ਵਿਚ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਕਿ ਯੋਗ ਲਾਭਪਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਖੱਜਲ-ਖੁਆਰੀ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਨਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਵੇ।
