ਡੈਸਕ- ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡਾ ਤੋਹਫਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ । ਰੇਲਵੇ ਨੇ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ AC 3-ਟੀਅਰ ਇਕਾਨਮੀ ਕਲਾਸ ਟਿਕਟ ਦਾ ਕਿਰਾਇਆ ਘਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਘੱਟ ਪੈਸੇ ਖਰਚ ਕੇ AC 3-ਟੀਅਰ ਇਕਾਨਮੀ ਕਲਾਸ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਲੈ ਸਕਣਗੇ। ਹੁਣ ਇਕ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਏਸੀ-3 ਟੀਅਰ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਇਕਾਨਮੀ ਕਲਾਸ ਵਿਚ 60-70 ਰੁਪਏ ਘੱਟ ਦੇਣੇ ਪੈਣਗੇ।
ਇਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੀ ਤਰੀਕ ਲਈ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਔਨਲਾਈਨ ਜਾਂ ਆਫਲਾਈਨ ਟਿਕਟਾਂ ਬੁੱਕ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪੈਸੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਊਂਟਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਔਫਲਾਈਨ ਟਿਕਟਾਂ ਬੁੱਕ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਕਾਇਆ ਰਕਮ ਵਾਪਸ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਟਿਕਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਬੁਕਿੰਗ ਕਾਊਂਟਰ ‘ਤੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ।
ਦੱਸ ਦੇਈਏ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਨੇ AC-3 ਇਕਾਨਮੀ ਕੋਚ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ, ਤਾਂ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਦਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਬਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ, ਪਰ ਇਸ ਕਲਾਸ ਨੂੰ AC 3-ਟੀਅਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕਿਰਾਇਆ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ AC 3-ਟੀਅਰ ਇਕਨਾਮੀ ਕੋਚਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਦਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਬਲ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ। ਹੁਣ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਨੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਚਾਦਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਬਲ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਰੇਲਵੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਆਮ ਥਰਡ ਏਸੀ ਕੋਚ ਵਿੱਚ 72 ਸੀਟਾਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਦੋਂਕਿ AC 3-ਟੀਅਰ ਇਕਾਨਮੀ ਕੋਚ ਵਿੱਚ 80 ਸੀਟਾਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ AC ਆਰਥਿਕ ਕੋਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀਟ ਦੀ ਚੌੜਾਈ ਆਮ ਥਰਡ ਏਸੀ ਕੋਚ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੀ ਘੱਟ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਦੱਸ ਦੇਈਏ ਕਿ ਅੰਕੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਰੇਲਵੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਾਲ AC 3-ਟੀਅਰ ਇਕਾਨਮੀ ਕਲਾਸ ਤੋਂ 231 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ। ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ-ਅਗਸਤ 2022 ਤੱਕ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਡੱਬਿਆਂ ‘ਚ 15 ਲੱਖ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਫਰ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਨੂੰ 177 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਹੋਈ।
