ਡੈਸਕ- ਰਾਇਲ ਚੈਲੇਂਜਰਜ਼ ਬੰਗਲੌਰ, ਆਈਪੀਐਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਾੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਕੁਝ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ, ਨੇ ਆਈਪੀਐਲ 2024 ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਰੁਝਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਬੈਂਗਲੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਐੱਮ ਚਿੰਨਾਸਵਾਮੀ ਸਟੇਡੀਅਮ ‘ਚ 7 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਾਰੀ ਹਾਰ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕੋਲਕਾਤਾ ਦੇ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਬੈਂਗਲੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਾਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਮੂੰਹ ਛੁਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ। ਕੋਲਕਾਤਾ ਨੇ 183 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦਾ ਟੀਚਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 17 ਓਵਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਮੈਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਘਰੇਲੂ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਆਈਪੀਐਲ 2024 ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਛਲੇ 9 ਮੈਚਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰ ਵਾਰ ਜਿੱਤ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਂਗਲੁਰੂ ਵੀ ਇੱਕ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਮੈਚ ‘ਚ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਿੰਗਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਜੇਕਰ ਇਹ ਸਿਲਸਿਲਾ ਟੁੱਟਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਮੈਚ ਹੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਬੇਂਗਲੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਖਰਾਬ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਕੇਕੇਆਰ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਇਹ ਖਰਾਬ ਰਿਹਾ। ਇਹ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ 6 ਘਰੇਲੂ ਮੈਚਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੇਕੇਆਰ ਤੋਂ ਹਾਰ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਉਹੀ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ।
ਬੈਂਗਲੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਟਾਸ ਹਾਰ ਕੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਟੀਮ 20 ਓਵਰਾਂ ‘ਚ 182 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਹੀ ਬਣਾ ਸਕੀ। ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਦੂਜੇ ਮੈਚ ‘ਚ ਵਿਰਾਟ ਕੋਹਲੀ ਨੇ ਬੈਂਗਲੁਰੂ ਲਈ ਤੇਜ਼ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਬਰਦਸਤ ਅਰਧ ਸੈਂਕੜਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਪਰ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਫਤਾਰ ਹੌਲੀ-ਹੌਲੀ ਘੱਟ ਗਈ। ਧੀਮੀ ਪਿੱਚ ‘ਤੇ ਕੋਲਕਾਤਾ ਦੇ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਬਦਲ ਕੇ ਬੈਂਗਲੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫਸਾਇਆ। ਕੋਹਲੀ ਅੰਤ ਤੱਕ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਪਰ 59 ਗੇਂਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 84 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਹੀ ਬਣਾ ਸਕਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਸਾਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਕੈਮਰੂਨ ਗ੍ਰੀਨ (33), ਗਲੇਨ ਮੈਕਸਵੈੱਲ (28) ਅਤੇ ਦਿਨੇਸ਼ ਕਾਰਤਿਕ (20) ਨੇ ਛੋਟੀਆਂ ਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਖੇਡੀਆਂ। ਕੋਲਕਾਤਾ ਲਈ ਆਂਦਰੇ ਰਸਲ ਨੇ 4 ਓਵਰਾਂ ‘ਚ ਸਿਰਫ 29 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੇ 2 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਲਈਆਂ।
