ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ: ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਧਾਰ 10 ਸਾਲ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਹੈ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਪਛਾਣ ਅਥਾਰਟੀ (UIDAI) ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਧਾਰ ਕਾਰਡ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੇਰਵੇ ਹੁਣੇ ਅਪਡੇਟ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। UIDAI ਨੇ ਆਧਾਰ ਕਾਰਡ ਧਾਰਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਛਾਣ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਪਤੇ ਦੇ ਸਬੂਤ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਡੇਟ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਆਧਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਔਨਲਾਈਨ ਅਤੇ ਔਫਲਾਈਨ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਪਡੇਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। UIDAI ਦੇ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਧਾਰ 10 ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਵੀ ਅਪਡੇਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਧਾਰ ਅਪਡੇਟ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ
ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, UIDAI ਨੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਪਰ, ਇਹ ਆਧਾਰ ਧਾਰਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। UIDAI ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਧਾਰ ਦਸ ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬਣਵਾਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਅੱਪਡੇਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ, ਅਜਿਹੇ ਆਧਾਰ ਨੰਬਰ ਧਾਰਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਪਡੇਟ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।”
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਪਡੇਟ ਕਰੋ
UIDAI ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਆਧਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਔਨਲਾਈਨ ਅਤੇ ਔਫਲਾਈਨ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਪਡੇਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਆਧਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਅਪਡੇਟ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ, ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ MyAadhaar ਪੋਰਟਲ ‘ਤੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਆਧਾਰ ਧਾਰਕ ਆਧਾਰ ਕੇਂਦਰ ‘ਤੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਫੀਸ ਦੇਣੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ।
UIDAI ਇੱਕ ਕਨੂੰਨੀ ਅਥਾਰਟੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਧਾਰ ਐਕਟ, 2016 ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ 12 ਜੁਲਾਈ, 2016 ਨੂੰ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ‘ਆਧਾਰ’ ਨਾਮਕ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਪਛਾਣ ਨੰਬਰ (UID) ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
