ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਤੋਂ ਸਿਆਸਤਦਾਨ ਬਣੀ ਜਯਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਪਛਾਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਕਿਸੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਟੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀਆਂ ‘ਚੋਂ ਇਕ ਰਹੀ ਜਯਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ (ਐਤਵਾਰ) ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ 6 ਦਹਾਕੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਰ ਲਏ ਹਨ। 3 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 1962 ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮੀ ਜਯਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾ ਅੱਜ ਆਪਣਾ 60ਵਾਂ ਜਨਮਦਿਨ ਮਨਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਨੇ 80 ਦੇ ਦਹਾਕੇ ‘ਚ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਈ ਹਿੱਟ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਦਰਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ‘ਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਵੱਖਰੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਬਣਾਈ। ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਨੇ ਉਸਦੇ ਪੈਰ ਚੁੰਮੇ, ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਜਯਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਸਨਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਹੈ।
ਜਯਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਲਾਈਫ ਓਨੀ ਸੌਖੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਦਿਖ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ। ਆਪਣੇ ਸਮੇਂ ‘ਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਗਜ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਦੇਵੀ, ਸ਼ਰਮੀਲਾ ਟੈਗੋਰ, ਜ਼ੀਨਤ ਅਮਾਨ, ਪਰਵੀਨ ਬਾਬੀ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਈ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖਰੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਾਫੀ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਜਯਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾ ਦੀ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ‘ਚ ਕਈ ਉਤਰਾਅ-ਚੜ੍ਹਾਅ ਆਏ। ਵਿਆਹੁਤਾ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜਯਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਕਦੇ ਪਤਨੀ ਦਾ ਦਰਜਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਮਾਂ ਬਣਨ ਦੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ।
ਫਿਲਮੀ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਰਿਹਾ
ਬਾਲੀਵੁਡ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਜਯਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾ ਨੇ ਬਾਲ ਕਲਾਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ 12 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਫਿਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ‘ਚ 200 ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ‘ਚ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਜਯਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀਆਂ ‘ਚ ਗਿਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ 70 ਅਤੇ 80 ਦੇ ਦਹਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਕਲਾਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਜਯਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾ ਨੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤੇਲਗੂ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ‘ਚ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਨੀਆ ‘ਚ ਪਛਾਣ ਮਿਲੀ।
ਵਿਵਾਦਪੂਰਨ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਜੀਵਨ
ਜਯਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੇ ਸਿਖਰ ‘ਤੇ ਇਕ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬਾਕੀ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਬਦਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ। 1986 ਵਿੱਚ ਫਿਲਮ ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਕਾਂਤ ਨਾਹਟਾ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਜਯਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾ ਵਿਵਾਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਘਿਰ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਨਹਾਟਾ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਤਿੰਨ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਤੋਂ ਤਲਾਕ ਲਏ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਜਯਾ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਜਯਾ ਨੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾ ਲਿਆ ਪਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਕਾਂਤ ਨਾਹਟਾ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਂ ਬਣਨ ਦੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਜਯਾ ਮਾਂ ਬਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ ਜਦਕਿ ਨਾਹਟਾ ਬੱਚਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ, ਦੋਵੇਂ ਵੱਖ ਹੋ ਗਏ, ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਭੈਣ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਗੋਦ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਸ਼੍ਰੀਦੇਵੀ-ਜਯਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ
ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ‘ਚ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ‘ਚ ਖਟਾਸ ਆਮ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਜਯਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਦੇਵੀ ਨੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ 8 ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਇਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਫਾਇਦਾ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੀਡੀਆ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਸ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਇੱਕ ਫਿਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕੋਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਜੇਸ਼ ਖੰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਤਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਕਮਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕੋਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠੇ ਸਨ।
