ਡੈਸਕ- ਜਲੰਧਰ (ਵੈਸਟ) ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਹਲਕੇ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿਮਨੀ ਚੋਣ ਦੀ ਵੋਟਿੰਗ ਪ੍ਰੀਕਿਆ ਇੱਕਾ ਦੁੱਕਾ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਸਾਂਤੀਪੂਰਵਕ ਰਹੀ। ਇਸ ਚੋਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੋਟ ਪਾਉਣ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਹੁਣ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਈਵੀਐਮ ਮਸ਼ੀਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੈਦ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਜੋ 13 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇਗੀ। ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿਮਨੀ ਚੋਣ ਵਿੱਚ 55 ਫੀਸਦ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜ਼ਮਹੂਰੀ ਹੱਕ ਦਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਵੋਟਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵਰਕਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸੂਚੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਸੂਚੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਲਿਖੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ 2-2 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਹੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵਰਕਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਚਿਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਸ਼ੀਤਲ ਅੰਗੁਰਾਲ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਰਾਜਨ ਅੰਗੁਰਾਲ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਅਫਵਾਹ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ। ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਨ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਕੀਤੀ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਣੂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਫਵਾਹ ਫੈਲਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਭਾਜਪਾ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਸ਼ੀਤਲ ਅੰਗੁਰਾਲ ਨੇ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਕਤਲ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਨੋਂ ਮਾਰਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਧਮਕੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਡਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਪੂਰਾ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਸੂਬਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਾਂਦਲੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਟਣਗੇ।
ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਜਲੰਧਰ (ਵੈਸਟ) ਸੀਟ ‘ਤੇ ਤਿਕੋਣਾ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਚੋਣ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਸ਼ੀਤਲ ਅੰਗੁਰਾਲ, ਆਪ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਮਹਿੰਦਰ ਭਗਤ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਮੇਅਰ ਸੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਹਲਕੇ ਦੀ ਖਾਸੀਅਤ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਵਾਰ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਨਵੀਂ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਚੋਣ ਜਿੱਤਦੀ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। 2012 ‘ਚ ਭਾਜਪਾ, 2017 ‘ਚ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਅਤੇ 2022 ‘ਚ ‘ਆਪ’ ਨੇ ਸੀਟ ਜਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ।
