ਸੂਫੀਆਨਾ ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਗਾਇਕ ਕੈਲਾਸ਼ ਖੇਰ ਅੱਜ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ‘ਚ ਜਾਣਿਆ-ਪਛਾਣਿਆ ਨਾਂ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ‘ਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਦਾ ਜਾਦੂ ਬਿਖੇਰਿਆ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ‘ਚ ਕੈਲਾਸ਼ ਖੇਰ ਅੱਜ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਹਨ, ਉੱਥੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਫੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਅੱਜ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਨਮਦਿਨ ‘ਤੇ ਆਓ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੁਝ ਖਾਸ ਗੱਲਾਂ।
ਕੈਲਾਸ਼ ਮੇਰਠ ਦਾ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ
ਮੇਰਠ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਏ, ਕੈਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਪਨ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਗਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੌਕ ਸੀ, ਉਸਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਮੇਹਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਖੇਰ ਇੱਕ ਪੁਜਾਰੀ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਸਰ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਲੋਕ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ। ਕੈਲਾਸ਼ ਨੇ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ 13-14 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਘਰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਕੈਲਾਸ਼ ਨੇ ਮਿਊਜ਼ਿਕ ਕਲਾਸ ‘ਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਂ ਲਿਖਵਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਪੇਟ ਭਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਊਜ਼ਿਕ ਦੀ ਟਿਊਸ਼ਨ ਵੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਕਰੀਬ 150 ਰੁਪਏ ਕਮਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਸੀ।
ਕੈਲਾਸ਼ ਖੁਦਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ
1999 ਵਿੱਚ ਕੈਲਾਸ਼ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਮੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਲਾਸ਼ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੋਸਤ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਰਹੇ। ਪਰ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਦਾ ਇੰਨਾ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਕੈਲਾਸ਼ ਡਿਪਰੈਸ਼ਨ ਵਿਚ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਦਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਹ ਕੰਮ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੰਗਾਪੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਥਾਈਲੈਂਡ ਵੀ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ 6 ਸਾਲ ਬਿਤਾਏ।
ਪਹਿਲੇ ਗੀਤ ਲਈ 5 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਰੁਪਏ ਮਿਲੇ ਸਨ
ਕੈਲਾਸ਼ ਖੇਰ ਨੇ 2001 ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਆ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਜਿੰਗਲ ਗਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ 5 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਰੁਪਏ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਸੀ। ਕੈਲਾਸ਼ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੋਕਾ ਕੋਲਾ, ਸਿਟੀ ਬੈਂਕ, ਪੈਪਸੀ, ਆਈਪੀਐਲ ਅਤੇ ਹੌਂਡਾ ਮੋਟਰਸਾਈਕਲ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਫਿਲਮ ਤੋਂ ਖਾਸ ਪਛਾਣ ਮਿਲੀ
ਆਖਿਰਕਾਰ ਸਾਲ 2003 ‘ਚ ਕੈਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ‘ਚ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਅੰਦਾਜ਼’ ‘ਚ ਉਸ ਨੇ ‘ਰੱਬਾ ਇਸ਼ਕ ਨਾ ਹੋਵ’ ਨੂੰ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੌਰ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸੁਪਰਹਿੱਟ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਰਟਬਸਟਰ ਗੀਤ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋਇਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਵੈਸਾ ਵੀ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ’ ‘ਚ ‘ਅੱਲਾ ਕੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਹਮ’ ਗੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਹਿੱਟ ਗੀਤਾਂ ‘ਚੋਂ ਇਕ ਹੈ।ਕੈਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਗਾਇਕੀ ਲਈ ‘ਪਦਮ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ’ ਐਵਾਰਡ ਮਿਲ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ।
