ਚਾਰ ਸਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਇੱਕ-ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਡੇਟ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਅਜੇ ਦੇ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਲਈ ਰਾਜ਼ੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ, ਉਥੇ ਹੀ ਕਾਜੋਲ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ 4 ਦਿਨ ਤੱਕ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਕਾਜੋਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ‘ਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਦੇਣ। ਪਰ, ਕਾਜੋਲ ਅਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅੜੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਰਕਾਰ ਕਾਜੋਲ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾ ਲਿਆ।
