ਕਾਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਨਾਥ ਮੰਦਿਰ: 241 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੁੜ ਬਣੇਗਾ ਮੰਦਰ, ਜਾਣੋ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ
ਕਾਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਨਾਥ ਮੰਦਰ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਜਯੋਤਿਰਲਿੰਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਕਈ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਰਾਣਸੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਹਿੰਦੂ ਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਮੰਦਰ ਦਾ ਅਹਿਮ ਸਥਾਨ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਅੱਜ ਵਾਰਾਣਸੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਨਾਥ ਧਾਮ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਪੀਐਮ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਬਰਦਸਤ ਤਿਆਰੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਕਾਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਨਾਥ ਮੰਦਰ ‘ਤੇ ਵੀ ਕਈ ਹਮਲੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। 11ਵੀਂ ਸਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜਾ ਹਰੀਸ਼ਚੰਦਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਇਸਦਾ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਗੋਰੀ ਨੇ ਸਾਲ 1194 ਵਿੱਚ ਢਾਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
241 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕਾਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਪੁਨਰ-ਸਥਾਪਨ
ਗੰਗਾ ਦੇ ਕਿਨਾਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਪਾਵਨ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਤੱਕ ਕਾਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਨਾਥ ਧਾਮ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਨਵਾਂ ਰੂਪ 241 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ 1194 ਤੋਂ 1669 ਤੱਕ ਕਾਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਨਾਥ ਮੰਦਰ ‘ਤੇ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਹਮਲੇ ਹੋਏ। ਮਰਾਠਾ ਸਾਮਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਮਹਾਰਾਣੀ ਅਹਿਲਿਆਬਾਈ ਹੋਲਕਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ 1777 ਅਤੇ 1780 ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਮੰਦਰ ਦਾ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਕਰੀਬ ਢਾਈ ਦਹਾਕਿਆਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ 8 ਮਾਰਚ 2019 ਨੂੰ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਦਾ ਨੀਂਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਮਾਨਤਾ
ਇਹ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਇਸ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਗੰਗਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਹਿੰਦੂ ਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਰਬਨਾਸ਼ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਮੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਹੁੰਚਾ ਸਕਦਾ। ਤਬਾਹੀ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ, ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ੂਲ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹਿਨਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਉਤਾਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇੰਨਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਮੂਲ ਰਚਨਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਵੀ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਹੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਥਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਵਿਸ਼ਨੂੰ ਨੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮੰਡ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਨਾਲ ਤਪੱਸਿਆ ਕਰਕੇ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਦ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਾਭੀ-ਕਮਲ ਤੋਂ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਹੋਇਆ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਇਤਿਹਾਸ
ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਵਾਰਾਣਸੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਮੰਦਰ ਪੁਰਾਤਨ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਮੰਦਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਗੰਗਾ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਕੰਢੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮੰਦਰ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਪਾਰਵਤੀ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ ਸਥਾਨ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਦਾ 11ਵੀਂ ਸਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜਾ ਹਰੀਸ਼ਚੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਨਵੀਨੀਕਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਗੋਰੀ ਨੇ 1194 ਵਿੱਚ ਢਾਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਸਾਲ 1447 ਵਿਚ ਜੌਨਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੁਲਤਾਨ ਮਹਿਮੂਦ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਢਾਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
