90 ਦੇ ਦਹਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਗਾਇਕ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 23 ਸਤੰਬਰ 1957 ਨੂੰ ਕੋਲਕਾਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਪਸ਼ੂਪਤੀ ਭੱਟਾਚਾਰੀਆ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਗੀਤਕਾਰ ਸਨ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸਾਨੂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਕਿਸ਼ੋਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਵੋਗੇ, ਪਰ ਇਕ ਸਮੇਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸ਼ੋਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ ਸੀ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਦੇਈਏ ਕਿ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸਾਨੂ ਨੇ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਦੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ‘ਚ ਐਂਟਰੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੀ ਕੇਦਾਰਨਾਥ ਭੱਟਾਚਾਰੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਬੰਗਲਾਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਫਿਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੈਬਿਊ ਕੀਤਾ
ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਪਰ ਇਹ ਸੱਚ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਗਾਇਕ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਲਕਿ ਬੰਗਲਾਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਤੀਨ ਕੰਨਿਆ’ ਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਨੇਮਾ ਜਗਤ ‘ਚ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਗਾਇਕ ਜਗਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੀ। ਅਸਲ ‘ਚ ਜਗਜੀਤ ਨੂੰ ‘ਅੰਧਿਆ’ ‘ਚ ਗਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਆਫਰ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜਗਜੀਤ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਲਿਆਣਜੀ ਆਨੰਦ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਂ ਕੇਦਾਰਨਾਥ ਭੱਟਾਚਾਰੀਆ ਤੋਂ ਬਦਲ ਕੇ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸਾਨੂ ਰੱਖ ਲਿਆ।
ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਵਿੱਚ 28 ਗੀਤ ਗਾਏ
ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਗਾਇਕ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸਾਨੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ‘ਚ 350 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ‘ਚ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਏ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਸਿਰਫ ਫਿਲਮ ਆਸ਼ਿਕੀ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੁਲੰਦੀਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਲੈ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਫਿਲਮ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਤੋ-ਰਾਤ ਸਟਾਰ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਬੋਲ ਇੰਨੇ ਸੁਪਰਹਿੱਟ ਹੋਏ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਦਾ ਦੀਵਾਨਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਕਿ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸਾਨੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਗਿਨੀਜ਼ ਬੁੱਕ ਆਫ ਵਰਲਡ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ‘ਚ ਵੀ ਦਰਜ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ‘ਚ 28 ਗੀਤ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਹ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਕਾਇਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
ਲਾਈਵ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਿਉਂ ਕੁੱਟਿਆ ਗਿਆ?
ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸਾਨੂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਪਿਲ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਸ਼ੋਅ ‘ਚ ਬਿਆਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸਾਨੂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮਾਫੀਆ ਗਰੋਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਟਰੈਕ ‘ਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਲਾਈਵ ਪਰਫਾਰਮੈਂਸ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਕਰੀਬ 20 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਲੋਕ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸਾਨੂ ਬਹੁਤ ਡਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਫੀ ਪਸੰਦ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਘਰ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਕੁੱਟਮਾਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਦਰਅਸਲ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਲਾਈਵ ਪਰਫਾਰਮੈਂਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਗੁੱਸੇ ‘ਚ ਆ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਥੱਪੜ ਵੀ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
