ਬੈਂਕਾਂ ‘ਚ ਅੱਜ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਦਲੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣਗੇ 2000 ਦੇ ਨੋਟ
ਡੈਸਕ- ਜੇਕਰ ਹੁਣ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ 2000 ਦੇ ਨੋਟ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਣ ਤੇ ਖਾਤੇ ਵਿਚ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਅੱਜ ਆਖਰੀ ਮੌਕਾ ਹੈ। 2000 ਦੇ ਨੋਟ 7 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਬੈਂਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਬਦਲੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਹੋ ਸਕਣਗੇ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਆਰਬਆਈ ਨੇ 19 ਖੇਤਰੀ ਦਫਤਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਣ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਜਾਣ ਵਿਚ ਅਸਮਰਥ ਹਨ, ਡਾਕ ਜ਼ਰੀਏ ਨੋਟ ਬਦਲ ਸਕਣਗੇ।
ਆਰਬੀਆਈ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ 96 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਯਾਨੀ 3.43 ਲੱਖ ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਲ ਦੇ 2000 ਦੇ ਨੋਟ ਬੈਂਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਤ ਆਏ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ 87 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਨੋਟ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ 13 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਛੋਟੇ ਮੁੱਲ ਦੇ ਨੋਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਦਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ 3.37 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਯਾਨੀ 12000 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਨੋਟ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਹਨ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਆਰਬੀਆਈ ਨੇ ਬੈਂਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ 2000 ਰੁਪਏ ਦਾ ਨੋਟ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਆਖਰੀ ਤਰੀਕ 30 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਤੈਅ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਆਰਬੀਆਈ ਨੇ ਨੋਟ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਣ ਤੇ ਖਾਤੇ ਵਿਚ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਤਰੀਕ ਨੂੰ 7 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਦੱਸ ਦੇਈਏ ਕਿ ਆਰਬੀਆਈ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਸਸਾਲ 19 ਮਈ ਨੂੰ 2000 ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਨੋਟ ਨੂੰ ਚੱਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਲੈਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਬੈਂਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ 2000 ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਨੋਟ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਵੀ ਕਰਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤੀ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਬੈਂਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਭੀੜ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੀ।
ਆਰਬੀਆਈ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਬਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ 7 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ 2000 ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਨੋਟ ਵੈਧ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਅਦਾਲਤਾਂ, ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਏਜੰਸੀਆਂ, ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਜਾਂ ਜਨਤਕ ਅਥਾਰਟੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਂ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਲੋੜ ਪੈਣ ‘ਤੇ ਆਰਬੀਆਈ ਦੇ 19 ਜਾਰੀ ਦਫ਼ਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸੀਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਸੀਮਾ ਦੇ 2000 ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਬੈਂਕ ਨੋਟ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
ਬੈਂਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਅੰਕੜਿਆਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ 19 ਮਈ 2023 ਤੱਕ ਚਲਨ ਵਿਚ ਰਹੇ 3.56 ਲੱਖ ਕਰੋੜ ਦੇ 2000 ਦੇ ਬੈਂਕ ਨੋਟਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ 3.42 ਲੱਖ ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਨੋਟ ਬੈਂਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। 29 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਿਰਫ 0.14 ਲੱਖ ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਹੀ ਚਲਨ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ 19 ਮਈ 2023 ਨੂੰ ਚਲਨ ਵਿਚ ਰਹੇ 2000 ਬੈਂਕ ਨੋਟਾਂ ਦਾ 96 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਹੁਣ ਬੈਂਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
