ਇਸ ਪਾਰੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਮੰਧਾਨਾ ਨੇ ਵਨਡੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ 4000 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਵੀ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰ ਲਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਖਾਸ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਜ਼ 4000 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਮੰਧਾਨਾ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਮਿਤਾਲੀ ਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਤੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਮਿਤਾਲੀ ਨੇ 14 ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 2011 ਵਿੱਚ ਵਨਡੇ ਮੈਚਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਜ਼ 4000 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦਾ ਅੰਕੜਾ ਪਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
ਕਪਤਾਨ ਮੰਧਾਨਾ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਇਰਲੈਂਡ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਵਨਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ 41 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਰੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਚਾਰ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੁਣ 95 ਵਨਡੇ ਮੈਚਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 4001 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮਿਤਾਲੀ ਰਾਜ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਲਈ ਵਨਡੇ ਮੈਚਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਰ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਸਨ। ਮੰਧਾਨਾ ਨੇ 95 ਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਰ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਜ਼ ਚਾਰ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਵੀ ਹਨ।
ਸਮ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਨੇ 28 ਸਾਲ ਅਤੇ 17 ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਰ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਵਨਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਰ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ 15ਵੀਂ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ ਬਣ ਗਈ। ਮੰਧਾਨਾ ਨੇ 4667 ਗੇਂਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਚਾਰ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਉਹ ਗੇਂਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਵਨਡੇ ਮੈਚਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਜ਼ 4,000 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੂਚੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੀਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਹੈ।
ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਜ਼ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਸਮ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਮੰਧਾਨਾ 4 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਤੀਜੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਜ਼ ਖਿਡਾਰਨ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਬੇਲਿੰਡਾ ਕਲਾਰਕ ਨੇ ਵਨਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਜ਼ 4000 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ। ਉਸਨੇ ਇਹ ਉਪਲਬਧੀ 86 ਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆਈ ਮਹਾਨ ਮੇਗ ਲੈਨਿੰਗ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਲੈਨਿੰਗ ਨੇ 89 ਵਨਡੇ ਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ 4 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਹੁਣ ਮੰਧਾਨਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ 95ਵੀਂ ਵਨਡੇ ਪਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਉਪਲਬਧੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਹੈ।
ਮੈਚ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰੀਏ ਤਾਂ, ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕਾ ਰਾਵਲ (89) ਅਤੇ ਤੇਜਲ ਹਸਾਬਨਿਸ (ਨਾਬਾਦ 53) ਦੇ ਅਰਧ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਲਗਾਏ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਇਰਲੈਂਡ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਵਨਡੇ ਮੈਚ ਨੂੰ ਛੇ ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਿੱਤ ਲਿਆ।
