Manoj Kumar Passes Away: ਉੱਘੇ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਾ ਮਨੋਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਦਾ 87 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਹਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੋਕਿਲਾਬੇਨ ਧੀਰੂਭਾਈ ਅੰਬਾਨੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖਰੀ ਸਾਹ ਲਿਆ। ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਦੇ ‘ਭਾਰਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ’ ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾਣੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਮਨੋਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤੀ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਜਾਣੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੂਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਗ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਹੈ।
ਭਾਰਤੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਲਮ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਮਨੋਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਦੇ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ‘ਤੇ, ਫਿਲਮ ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾ ਅਸ਼ੋਕ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “…ਮਹਾਨ ਦਾਦਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਫਾਲਕੇ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਜੇਤੂ, ਸਾਡੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫਿਲਮ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਦੇ ‘ਸ਼ੇਰ’ ਮਨੋਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਜੀ ਹੁਣ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇ… ਇਹ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਘਾਟਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਮੀ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰੇਗੀ…”
ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਮੁੱਖ ਪਹਿਲੂ
ਮਨੋਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾ ਵੀ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 24 ਜੁਲਾਈ 1937 ਨੂੰ ਐਬਟਾਬਾਦ (ਹੁਣ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ) ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਉਸਦਾ ਅਸਲੀ ਨਾਮ ਹਰੀਕਿਸ਼ਨ ਗਿਰੀ ਗੋਸਵਾਮੀ ਹੈ। ਮਨੋਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ 1957 ‘ਚ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਫੈਸ਼ਨ’ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ 1960 ‘ਚ ‘ਹਰਿਆਲੀ ਔਰ ਰਾਸਤਾ’ (1962), ‘ਵੋ ਕੌਨ ਥੀ?’ (1964), ‘ਹਿਮਾਲੇ ਕੀ ਗੌਡ ਮੈਂ’ (1965) ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਛਾਣ ਮਿਲੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤੀ ਭਰੀਆਂ ਭੂਮਿਕਾਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਿਨੇਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ “ਭਾਰਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ” ਦਾ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਵੀ ਮਿਲਿਆ।
1965 ਦੀ ਭਾਰਤ-ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਜੰਗ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਅਭਿਨੀਤ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਉਪਕਾਰ’ 1967 ਵਿੱਚ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਹੋਈ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਹਿੱਟ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋਈ। ‘ਉਪਕਾਰ’ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸਨੇ ਕਈ ਹੋਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤੀ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮਨੋਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੂੰ ‘ਪੂਰਬ ਔਰ ਪੱਛਮੀ’ (1970), ‘ਸ਼ਹੀਦ’ (1965, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਨੇ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਸੀ), ਅਤੇ ‘ਕ੍ਰਾਂਤੀ’ (1981) ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਮਿਲੀ।
