ਅੱਜ ਤੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਮੁਕਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਮਾਘੀ ਮੇਲਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ, 5 ਲੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਨਤਮਸਤਕ
ਡੈਸਕ- ਸ੍ਰੀ ਮੁਕਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਘੀ ਮੇਲਾ ਅੱਜ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਸਾਲ 1705 ਵਿਚ ਖਿਦਰਾਨਾ ਦੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਵਿਚ ਮੁਗਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ 40 ਸਿੱਖ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿਚ ਸਦੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਮਾਘੀ ਮੇਲਾ ਲੱਘ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੀ ਖਿਦਰਾਨਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਮੁਕਤਸਰ ਜਾਂ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਤਾਲਾਬ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਮੇਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਘੋੜੇ ਦੀ ਮੰਡੀ ਦਾ ਖਾਸ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਹੈ।ਇਥੇ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਦੇਸ਼-ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂ ਦਸਮ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਚਰਨ ਛੋਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਥਾਂ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣ ਤੇ ਸਰੋਵਰ ਵਿਚ ਇਸਨਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਣਗੇ। ਅੱਜ ਇਸ ਮੇਲੇ ਵਿਚ 5 ਲੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਮਾਨ ਹੈ। ਮਾਘੀ ਮੇਲੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ 7 ਜ਼ੋਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੰਡਿਆ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਇਥੇ 4500 ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਗਲੈਂਡਰ ਰੋਗ ਕਾਰਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਘੋੜਾ ਮੰਡੀਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਬੰਧ ਲਗਾਉਣ ‘ਤੇ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਇਸ ਮੇਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਘੋੜੇ ਲਿਆਉਣ ‘ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਬੰਧ ਲੱਗ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ 16 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਤੱਕ ਘੋੜਾ ਮੇਲੇ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੰਡੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਸਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਵੇਚੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਖਰੀਦੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੰਡੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ, ਹਰਿਆਣਾ, ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਤੇ ਗੁਜਰਾਤ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਘੋੜੇ ਇਥੇ ਲਿਆਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਥੇ 2 ਲੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ 20 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਮਹਿੰਗੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਵੀ ਦੇਖੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਮੁਕਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ 12 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਖੰਡ ਪਾਠ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। 13 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੀਵਾਨ ਸਜਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਮਾਘੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ 14 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਖੰਡ ਪਾਠ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਭੋਗ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ 15 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਸਜਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮੇਲੇ ਦੀ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਮੇਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਕਤ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਨਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਵੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਨੂੰ ਡਾਇਵਰਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਦੂਜੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਲੰਘਣ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਬਾਈਪਾਸ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ 6 ਅਸਥਾਈ ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਲਈ ਚੱਕਾ ਬੀੜ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇੜੇ ਦੁਸਹਿਰਾ ਗਰਾਊਂਡ, ਹਰਿਆਲੀ ਪੈਟਰੋਲ ਪੰਪ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਂ, ਕੋਟਕਪੂਰਾ ਰੋਡ ਨੇੜੇ ਯਾਦਗਰੀ ਗੇਟ, ਮਲੋਟ ਰੋਡ ਗਊਸ਼ਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਂ, ਬਰਤਨ ਫੈਕਟਰੀ ਨੇੜੇ, ਨਵੀਂ ਅਨਾਜ ਮੰਡੀ ਮੁਕਤਸਰ, ਮਾਈ ਭਾਗੋ ਕਾਲਜ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਮਨੇਜ਼ੀਅਮ ਹਾਲ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਗੁਰੂਹਰਸਹਾਏ ਰੋਡ ਨੇੜੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਲੰਬੀ ਢਾਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਵਿਖੇ ਪਾਰਕਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
