ਮੁੰਬਈ ਇੰਡੀਅਨਜ਼ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ: ਮਹਿਲਾ ਆਈਪੀਐਲ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੁੰਬਈ ਇੰਡੀਅਨਜ਼ ਨੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਹਰਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਦੀ ਕਪਤਾਨੀ ਵਾਲੀ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਨੇ ਫਾਈਨਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਕੈਪੀਟਲਜ਼ ਨੂੰ 7 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾਇਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ‘ਚ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਨੇ 5 ਆਈ.ਪੀ.ਐੱਲ.
ਮੁੰਬਈ ਇੰਡੀਅਨਜ਼ ਨੇ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਆਈਪੀਐਲ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਜਿੱਤ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਹਰਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਫਾਈਨਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਕੈਪੀਟਲਜ਼ ਨੂੰ 7 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾਇਆ। ਨੈਟ ਸੀਵਰ ਬਰੰਟ ਨੇ ਅਜੇਤੂ ਅਰਧ ਸੈਂਕੜਾ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨ ਬਣਾਇਆ।
ਫਾਈਨਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਕੈਪੀਟਲਜ਼ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਕੋਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਾ ਸਕੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ 9 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ‘ਤੇ 131 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਪਰ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਇੰਡੀਅਨਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਖੇਡਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਰ ਨੈਟ ਸੀਵਰ ਬਰੰਟ ਨੇ 55 ਗੇਂਦਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਅਜੇਤੂ 60 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ 3 ਗੇਂਦਾਂ ਬਾਕੀ ਰਹਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਜਿੱਤ ਦਿਵਾਈ।
ਮੁੰਬਈ ਇੰਡੀਅਨਜ਼ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਵਰਗ ਸਮੇਤ ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ 8ਵਾਂ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਹੈ। ਟੀਮ ਨੇ 5 ਵਾਰ ਪੁਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਈਪੀਐਲ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਹ 2 ਵਾਰ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨਜ਼ ਟੀ-20 ਲੀਗ ਦੇ ਖਿਤਾਬ ‘ਤੇ ਵੀ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮਹਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧੋਨੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਚੇਨਈ ਸੁਪਰ ਕਿੰਗਜ਼ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਕਾਫੀ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਹੈ।
ਮੁੰਬਈ ਇੰਡੀਅਨਜ਼ ਨੇ 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 ਅਤੇ 2020 ਵਿੱਚ 5 ਵਾਰ ਆਈਪੀਐਲ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ 2011 ਅਤੇ 2013 ਵਿੱਚ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨਜ਼ ਲੀਗ ਟਰਾਫੀ ਵੀ ਜਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। 2011 ਵਿੱਚ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਹਰਭਜਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ 2013 ਵਿੱਚ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਸਨ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਐਮਐਸ ਧੋਨੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਚੇਨਈ ਸੁਪਰ ਕਿੰਗਜ਼ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ 6 ਖਿਤਾਬ ਜਿੱਤ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਆਈਪੀਐਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਟੀਮ 2010, 2011, 2018 ਅਤੇ 2021 ਵਿੱਚ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਫਲ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ। ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨਜ਼ ਲੀਗ ‘ਤੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਮਾਰੀਏ ਤਾਂ CSK ਦੀ ਟੀਮ 2010 ਅਤੇ 2010 ‘ਚ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨ ਬਣੀ ਸੀ।
ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨਜ਼ ਲੀਗ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਕੁੱਲ 6 ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ ਆਖਰੀ ਵਾਰ 2014 ਵਿੱਚ ਖੇਡਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮੁੰਬਈ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਐਸਕੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਟੀ-20 ਲੀਗ ਵਿੱਚ 2-2 ਵਾਰ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨ ਬਣੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਸਿਡਨੀ ਸਿਕਸਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਊ ਸਾਊਥ ਵੇਲਜ਼ ਬਲੂਜ਼ ਨੇ ਇਕ-ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ।
IPL ਦਾ 16ਵਾਂ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ 31 ਮਾਰਚ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਦੀ ਕਪਤਾਨੀ ‘ਚ ਟੀਮ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੇਗੀ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ‘ਚ ਟੀਮ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਠਲੇ 10ਵੇਂ ਨੰਬਰ ‘ਤੇ ਸੀ। ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁੱਲ 10 ਟੀਮਾਂ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਫਾਈਨਲ 28 ਮਈ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਡਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
