ਮੁੰਬਈ. ਨਰਗਿਸ (Nargis) ਜੋ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀ ਹੈ, ਅੱਜ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ. ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀਆਂ ਅਸਲ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਹਨ. ਅੱਜ ਉਸ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀ ਦਾ ਜਨਮਦਿਨ ਹੈ. ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 1 ਜੂਨ 1929 ਨੂੰ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ. ਨਰਗਿਸ ਦਾ ਅਸਲ ਨਾਮ ਕਨੀਜ਼ ਫਾਤਿਮਾ ਰਾਸ਼ਿਦ ਸੀ। ਅੱਜ, ਨਾਰੀਸ ਦੇ ਜਨਮਦਿਨ ‘ਤੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀਆਂ ਖਾਸ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ.
ਕੋਲਕਾਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ 1 ਜੂਨ 1929 ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮੀ ਨਰਗਿਸ (Nargis) ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਉੱਤਮਚੰਦ ਮੋਹਨਦਾਸ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਜੱਦਨਬਾਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਡਾਂਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਇਕਾ ਸੀ। ਨਰਗਿਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਬਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ. ਪਰ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਨੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਮਨੋਰੰਜਨ ਦੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਜਿਆ. ਉਸਨੇ 6 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਤੋਂ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ.
ਨਰਗਿਸ (Nargis) ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਜੱਦਨ ਬਾਈ ਇਕ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਫਿਲਮ ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾ ਵੀ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਿਲਮੀ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ, ਨਰਗਿਸ ਬਚਪਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਦਾਕਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਰੁਚੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦੀ ਸੀ। ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਉਸਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਫਿਲਮ ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਮਹਿਬੂਬ ਖਾਨ ਕੋਲ ਇੱਕ ਸਕ੍ਰੀਨ ਟੈਸਟ ਲਈ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਨਰਗਿਸ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਸਕ੍ਰੀਨ ਟੈਸਟ ਵਿਚ ਅਸਫਲ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਨੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ.
ਇਹ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਕ੍ਰੀਨ ਟੈਸਟ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਨਰਗਿਸ (Nargis) ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਿ ਮਹਿਬੂਬ ਖਾਨ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਸਕਰੀਨ ਟੈਸਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਫਲ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਗਲਤ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ. ਮਹਿਬੂਬ ਖਾਨ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਤਕਦੀਰ’ 1943 ਲਈ ਹੀਰੋਇਨ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਸੀ। ਸਾਲ 1945 ਵਿਚ, ਨਰਗਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਲਮ ਹੁਮਾਯੂੰ ਵਿਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਸਾਲ 1949 ਨਰਗਿਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਨੇਮਾ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਮੀਲ ਪੱਥਰ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋਇਆ. ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ‘ਬਰਸਾਤ’ ਅਤੇ ‘ਅੰਦਾਜ਼’ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਸਫਲ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਸਨ।
ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਮੈਨ ਰਾਜ ਕਪੂਰ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਹੋਈ। ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਰਗਿਸ (Nargis) ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜ ਕਪੂਰ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿਚ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਵੱਖ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਫੇਰ ਸੁਨੀਲ ਦੱਤ ਨਾਗਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿਚ ਆਇਆ. ‘ਮਦਰ ਇੰਡੀਆ’ ਫਿਲਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੂਟਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਸੈੱਟ ‘ਤੇ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਅੱਗ ਲੱਗ ਗਈ ਤਾਂ ਨਰਗਿਸ ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਫਸ ਗਈ। ਫਿਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੀ ਪਰਵਾਹ ਨਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸੁਨੀਲ ਦੱਤ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ। ਉਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ. ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿਚ ਉਸਦਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
