ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਨੀਤੂ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ
ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਕਪੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਨੀਤੂ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਸਾਲ 1974 ‘ਚ ਮਿਲੇ ਸਨ, ਜਦੋਂ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਜ਼ਹਿਰੀਲਾ ਇੰਸਾਨ’ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੂਟਿੰਗ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ। ਨੀਤੂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 15 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਸੀ। ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਫਿਲਮ ਦੇ ਸੈੱਟ ‘ਤੇ ਹੋਈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਚੰਗੇ ਦੋਸਤ ਬਣ ਗਏ।
ਨੀਤੂ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮਿਕਾ ਲਈ ਚਿੱਠੀ ਲਿਖਦੀ ਸੀ
ਨੀਤੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਕਪੂਰ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰੇਮਿਕਾ ਸੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਗਰਲਫਰੈਂਡ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਹੇਲੀ ਨੀਤੂ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਗਰਲਫਰੈਂਡ ਲਈ ਲਵ ਲੈਟਰ ਲਿਖਣ ਲਈ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਸੀ। ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਨੀਤੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਗਰਲਫ੍ਰੈਂਡ ਲਈ ਲਵ ਲੈਟਰ ਲਿਖਣ ਲਈ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਇਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਉਣ ਲੱਗੇ।
ਨੀਤੂ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਖੁਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ
ਨੀਤੂ ਉਨ੍ਹੀਂ ਦਿਨੀਂ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਕਪੂਰ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਸੀ, ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਕਪੂਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਰਾਜ ਕਪੂਰ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਨੀਤੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰ ਲੈਣ। ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਆਹ 1979 ‘ਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਨੀਤੂ ਕਪੂਰ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਇਸ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ‘ਚ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਵੀ ਖੁਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਲਈ ਰਾਜ਼ੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਿਆਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਹੋਸ਼ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸੀ
ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਮਜ਼ਾਕੀਆ ਕਿੱਸਾ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਵੋਗੇ ਕਿ ਨੀਤੂ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਕਪੂਰ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਹੋਸ਼ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਦਰਅਸਲ, ਨੀਤੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਲਹਿੰਗਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਬੇਹੋਸ਼ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਇੰਨੀ ਭੀੜ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਬੇਹੋਸ਼ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ।
