ਉਬੇਰ ਨੇ ਈਂਧਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧੇ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਰਾਏ ਵਿੱਚ 12-15% ਵਾਧੇ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੈਲੀਫੋਰਨੀਆ ਸਥਿਤ ਰਾਈਡ-ਹੇਲਿੰਗ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ InDriver ਐਪ ਨੇ ਐਂਟਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਰਾਹਤ ਦੀ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪੱਛਮੀ ਬੰਗਾਲ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਕੋਲਕਾਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਔਨਲਾਈਨ ਕੈਬ ਸੇਵਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਇੱਕ ਐਪ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ, ਜਿਸ ‘ਤੇ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਕਿਰਾਏ ‘ਤੇ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
InDriver, ਕੈਬ ਰਾਈਡ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ ਨੇ ਕੋਲਕਾਤਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ 4,000 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਡਰਾਈਵਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਕੈਬ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਨਗਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਕੋਲਕਾਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਕੈਲੀਫੋਰਨੀਆ ਸਥਿਤ ਇਸ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਦੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਰਿਲੇਸ਼ਨ ਅਫਸਰ ਪਵਿਤ ਨੰਦਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਮਹਾਨਗਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ।
ਭੀੜ-ਭੜੱਕੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੀਮਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਧੇਗੀ
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਐਪ ਆਧਾਰਿਤ ਕੈਬ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ ‘ਤੇ ਭੀੜ-ਭੜੱਕੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਦਰਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਧਣਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਡਰਾਈਵਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਸੂਲੀ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸਰਵਿਸ ਫੀਸ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਘੱਟ ਰੱਖੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ਤਾ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ‘ਤੇ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰੀ ਮਾਡਲ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕੈਬ ਸੇਵਾ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਤਾ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਵਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਕਿਰਾਏ ਦੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਡਰਾਈਵਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੰਗੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਵੱਖੋ-ਵੱਖਰੀਆਂ ਦਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕਿਰਾਏ ਨੂੰ ਤੈਅ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ।
ਨੰਦਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਇਹ ਇਕਲੌਤਾ ਐਪ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਵਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦੀ ਬੁਕਿੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਕੈਬ ਕਿਰਾਏ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤਿੰਨ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਾਡਾ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਪੰਜ ਤੋਂ ਦਸ ਫੀਸਦੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਐਪ-ਅਧਾਰਤ ਕੈਬ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਡਰਾਈਵਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਉਬੇਰ ਅਤੇ ਓਲਾ ਵਰਗੇ ਐਗਰੀਗੇਟਰ ਡਰਾਈਵਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ 30 ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤ ਤੱਕ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਨੂੰ 15-20 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਦੇ ਦਾਇਰੇ ‘ਚ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੈਬ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
