ਕੇਰਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੈਕਵਾਟਰਸ ਲਈ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਇੱਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਟਾਪੂ ਵੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਹੈ। ਇਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਪੂਵਰ ਟਾਪੂ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਤਿਰੂਵਨੰਤਪੁਰਮ ਤੋਂ 25 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦੂਰ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਟਾਪੂ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਅਰਬ ਸਾਗਰ, ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਬੈਕਵਾਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਨੇਯਾਰ ਨਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਘਿਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਟਾਪੂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਭਵਾਨੀ ਟਾਪੂ ਆਂਧਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਵਿਜੇਵਾੜਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਇਸਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਨਦੀ ਟਾਪੂ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇੱਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਗ੍ਰੋਵ ਅਤੇ ਘਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਹਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਕਰਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਲੋਕ ਇੱਥੇ ਕਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਆਨੰਦ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਟਾਪੂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਫ਼ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੈਰਦੇ ਵੀ ਹਨ।
