ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ – ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਦੌਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾੜੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਕੰਟਰੋਲ ਬੋਰਡ (BCCI) ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੀਮਤ ਕਰਨ ‘ਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ਾਜਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਉਹ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਦੌਰਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੀਮਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਕੋਚਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਟੀਮ ਬੱਸ ‘ਤੇ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕਣ ‘ਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਬੀਸੀਸੀਆਈ ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ 45 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦੇ ਦੌਰੇ ‘ਤੇ, ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ ਦੋ ਹਫ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਰੱਖ ਸਕਣਗੇ। ਜੇਕਰ ਟੂਰ 45 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਸਮਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਹਫ਼ਤਾ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਦੌਰੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਵਾਹਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਟੀਮ ਬੱਸ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ। ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਇਸ ਨਿਯਮ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਕੁਝ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਸਟਾਫ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਹੋਰ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਦੌਰੇ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ਾਜਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਬੁਲਾਈ ਗਈ ਸਮੀਖਿਆ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਨਾਲ ਲਾਗੂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਟੀਮ ਬੱਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਚਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੈਨੇਜਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਦਾ ਉਦੋਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਦੌਰੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੋਚਿੰਗ ਸਟਾਫ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਦੇ ਮੈਨੇਜਰ ਨੂੰ ਟੀਮ ਬੱਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ। ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਪੰਜ ਮੈਚਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੜੀ 1-3 ਨਾਲ ਹਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਬੀਸੀਸੀਆਈ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਗੁਪਤ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਤ ‘ਤੇ ਪੀਟੀਆਈ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ, “ਟੀਮ ਬੱਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਮੈਨੇਜਰ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਇਕਾਈ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਭਰਵੱਟੇ ਚੁੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ।” ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੰਟਰੋਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਜਿੱਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਦੌਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, ‘ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਸਾਰੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਚਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਟੀਮ ਬੱਸ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।’ ਇਹ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਹ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਹੋਰ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਸਲਾਮੀ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਟੀਮ ਬੱਸ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਬੀਸੀਸੀਆਈ ਦੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹਨ।
