ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ : ਦੋਆਬਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸੀ ਵਿਧਾਇਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਇਕ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨੇ ਨਵਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਤੋਂ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਰਾਣਾ ਗੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ “ਮਾਈਨਿੰਗ ਘੁਟਾਲੇ” ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵਿਤ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਸੂਚੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਇਕ ਸਾਫ਼ ਦਲਿਤ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਹ ਕਦਮ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਚਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਨੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਾਂਗਰਸੀ ਆਗੂ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਹਾਈ ਕਮਾਂਡ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਵਟਾਂਦਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਰੂਪ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ। ਮੰਤਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਹੁੰ ਚੁੱਕ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਅੱਜ ਸ਼ਾਮ 4.30 ਵਜੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਗਵਰਨਰ ਹਾਊਸ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ।
ਚਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਨੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮੰਡਲ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਘੰਟੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਸੂਬਾਈ ਕਾਂਗਰਸੀ ਨੇਤਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਕ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਨੇ ਐਤਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਸੂਬਾ ਇਕਾਈ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਨਵਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਤਰ ਲਿਖ ਕੇ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ “ਦਾਗੀ” ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਰਾਣਾ ਗੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮੰਡਲ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ।
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦਾ ਅਹੁਦਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਸਾਫ਼ ਅਕਸ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਲਿਤ ਆਗੂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਪੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਕਾਪੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਚਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਭੇਜੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪੱਤਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮਹਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੇਪੀ, ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਨਵਤੇਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੀਮਾ, ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ, ਬਾਵਾ ਹੈਨਰੀ, ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਚੱਬੇਵਾਲ , ਪਵਨ ਆਦੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਖਹਿਰਾ ਨੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਖਹਿਰਾ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿਚ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
