ਡੈਸਕ- ਪੈਰਿਸ ਪੈਰਾਲੰਪਿਕ 2024 ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਤੀਰਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਰਿਸ ਪੈਰਾਲੰਪਿਕ ‘ਚ ਪੁਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਕਰਵ ਫਾਈਨਲ ‘ਚ ਸੋਨ ਤਮਗਾ ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਰਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਪੈਰਿਸ ਪੈਰਾਲੰਪਿਕ ‘ਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਹੁਣ 22 ਮੈਡਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚਾਰ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੇ, ਅੱਠ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੇ ਅਤੇ 10 ਕਾਂਸੀ ਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹੁਣ ਭਾਰਤ ਪੈਰਾਲੰਪਿਕ ਦੀ ਤਗਮਾ ਸੂਚੀ ਵਿੱਚ 15ਵੇਂ ਸਥਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਪੈਰਾਲੰਪਿਕ ‘ਚ ਸੋਨ ਤਗਮਾ ਜਿੱਤਣ ‘ਤੇ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਐਕਸ (ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਟਵੀਟਰ ) ਤੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ- “ਪੈਰਾ ਤੀਰਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ‘ਚ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਗੋਲਡ ! ਪੈਰਾਲੰਪਿਕਸ 2024 ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਗਤ ਰਿਕਰਵ ਓਪਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੋਲਡ ਮੈਡਲ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਲਈ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈਆਂ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਫੋਕਸ ਤੇ ਟਾਰਗੇਟ ਕਮਾਲ ਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੈ”।
ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਫਾਈਨਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੋਲੈਂਡ ਦੇ ਲੁਕਾਸ ਸਿਜ਼ੇਕ ਨੂੰ 6-0 ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾ ਕੇ ਸੋਨ ਤਗ਼ਮਾ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ। ਤੀਰਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਪੈਰਾਲੰਪਿਕ ਸੋਨ ਤਮਗਾ ਹੈ। ਪੈਰਾਲੰਪਿਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਦੂਜਾ ਤਮਗਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ 2020 ਪੈਰਾਲੰਪਿਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਸੀ ਦਾ ਤਗ਼ਮਾ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪੈਰਿਸ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਪੈਰਾਲੰਪਿਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੀਰਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਤਮਗਾ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਤੀਰਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਪੈਰਾਲੰਪਿਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ, ਅਥਲੈਟਿਕਸ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਡਮਿੰਟਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਨ ਤਗਮੇ ਜਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
ਗੋਲਡ ਮੈਡਲ ਮੈਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸੈੱਟ 28-24 ਦੇ ਸਕੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ 2 ਅਹਿਮ ਅੰਕ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੇ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੂਜੇ ਸੈੱਟ ‘ਚ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਫਿਰ 28 ਦਾ ਸਕੋਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ, ਜਦਕਿ ਪੋਲਿਸ਼ ਪੈਰਾ ਐਥਲੀਟ 27 ਦਾ ਸਕੋਰ ਹੀ ਬਣਾ ਸਕਿਆ। ਇਹ ਸੈੱਟ ਵੀ ਇਕ ਅੰਕ ਦੇ ਫਰਕ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੋਲ ਗਿਆ।
ਫਿਰ ਤੀਜੇ ਸੈੱਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ 29-25 ਦੇ ਫਰਕ ਨਾਲ ਜਿੱਤ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਕੇ 2 ਅੰਕ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 6-0 ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾ ਕੇ ਸੋਨ ਤਗ਼ਮਾ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਰਿਹਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਸੈਮੀਫਾਈਨਲ ਮੈਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਰਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾ ਅਥਲੀਟ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ 1-3 ਨਾਲ ਪਛਾੜ ਕੇ 7-3 ਨਾਲ ਜਿੱਤ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੋਨ ਤਗ਼ਮੇ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਥਾਂ ਪੱਕੀ ਕੀਤੀ।
